"nipping at his heels, like a pack of insatiable hyenas, day after day after day, would they never stop? "Lovell Mixon died at 26, hiding in an apartment"... Now the hell-hounds are on his heels.

I like the “perpetrator not responsible” “spin”, right from the opening paragraph.!
Mixon was “SHOT by police” during...
...an incident that “left 4 officers dead”.
Apparently NO ONE actively killed them, they just “got dead” somehow during the “incident”.
How about: “Mixon shot and killed 4 police officers and left several wounded as he instigated a running gun battle with police which resulted in his death”.
Wouldn’t THAT be a better, more fair, assessment of the situation?

I didn’t think even the AP would go this far.
I was wrong.

Whatever happened to California's "three strikes and you're out" law?
Seems to me he had enough violent felonies in his background to qualify.
Was the legislation repealed....or, worse, ignored?

NOWHERE in that entire article does JULIANA BARBASSA actually state that this animal MURDERED four police officers.
She persistently describes them as “getting killed” or a gunfight “resulting in their deaths”.
It is positively SICKENING.

Then he should have shot him self.
Instead the scumbag felt he had to take 4 productive members of society with him.

The article called the murderer “ ...deeply frustrated young man who likely snapped under the weight of opportunities missed or denied.”
No excuse. We’ve all had missed and denied opportunities and never ended up shooting anybody.
