this unique qualification only applies to the President of the United States. I believe it also applies to the Vice President.
But doesn't the Constitution have a clause about having a fax of a copy of a newspaper birth announcement?

I believe it also applies to the Vice President.Interesting. Henry Kissinger was Secretary of State, so he would normally be in the line of succession to be President.
But Kissinger was foreign born.

"I believe it also applies to the Vice President." The VP simply must meet all the same eligibility criteria as the President (and be from a different state).
