Why is it that in descriptions of the words and activities of Rush Limbaugh, it is not pointed out the obvious similarity of Limbaugh and Adolph Hitler.
Rush knows exactly what he has started. Do you remember how overbearing, intimidating and feared Sen. Joseph McCarthy became before his crudities and chilling attacks on patriotic citizens was stopped?
The rise of Hitler came about through use of the same strident, rancorous and dangerous appeal to a populace who had suffered military defeat and in times of embarrassment for their loss of economic power how the Germans suffered because of inflation and post-World War II decadence.
Could Limbaughs future in the U.S. follow a similar rise to power? Yes, it could happen in America; a thousand times yes. Limbaugh has sufficient numbers of fanatics who could rouse thousands of others who feel they have been passed over and are now aching to join in conflict to usurp our duly elected government. Limbaugh has said he hopes President Barack Obama fails.

He is a retired professor from Minnesota State University at Moorhead. He taught art I believe and retired about 25-30 years ago.
Fanatics??? What a dimbulb.
Marcel Stratton’s knowledge of history is, to say the least, limited.
One might say it is non-existent.
McCarthy doesn't come close to this clown:
"Rep. Barney Frank calls Scalia a 'homophobe'"
Spoken like a true Obamabot
Marcel Stratton has all the insight of a cave fish. Did anyone get the licence of the turnip truck he fell off of? (Mixed metaphors for a crazy, mixed-up kind of guy.)
And there still are!
GREAT post! obommie-the-commie is another hitler/chavez wannabee.
Dude! There have to be better and more interesting articles than this on the Internet.
Or one other option is that he and others like him embrace a form of fascism as long as it comes from the left.

I subscribe to Goldberg’s theory of fascism: to wit, all fascism comes from the left.
Ping
By all means post them.
Barney Frank wanted Liddy to "Name Names".
We all remember the person who is best remembered for "Naming Names", and that person is the Evil Joe McCarthy.
What these despicable liberals fail to point out is that the people who wanted to "Name Names" (when Joe McCarthy was acting in our best interests back in the early fifties) were LIBERALS. THEY were the ones demanding that McCarthy "Name Names".
McCarthy resisted those demands, because he knew how terrible and complete the power of government could be when brought against people who were neither tried nor convicted.
It was LIBERALS who wanted the names of untried people thrown into the public domain. And here we are, more than fifty years later, and liberals are doing it again.
I had a man stop in front of me and scream at me with a hate-distorted face and spittle frothed lips: "HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE A FASCIST?!!! YOU FASCIST! YOU'RE A FASCIST!" I had said not a word, and was holding this sign:
The irony of these people, supporting someone like Obama and calling us fascists was staggering. According to one definition, Fascism is a radical, authoritarian nationalist ideology that aims to create a single-party state with a government led by a dictator who seeks national unity and development by requiring individuals to subordinate self-interest to the collective interest of the nation or race.
While it is true that the ANSWER goons and the rest of the liberals are not advocating a nationalist ideology, everything else fits like a glove.
The Freepers on our side were for limited government, lowered taxes, less government intrusion into business and private life.
And they were marching with a 20 foot wide red banner with a yellow hammer and sickle on it.
Obama knows exactly what he has started.
Could Obama's future in the U.S. follow a similar rise to power? Yes, it could happen in America; a thousand times yes. Obama has sufficient numbers of fanatics and mindless zombies who could rouse thousands of others who feel they have been passed over and are now aching to join in conflict to usurp our precious consitiution. Obama has said the Surge would fail, and that democracy in Iraq could not be brought about.
