Why is it that in descriptions of the words and activities of Rush Limbaugh, it is not pointed out the obvious similarity of Limbaugh and Adolph Hitler.
Rush knows exactly what he has started. Do you remember how overbearing, intimidating and feared Sen. Joseph McCarthy became before his crudities and chilling attacks on patriotic citizens was stopped?
The rise of Hitler came about through use of the same strident, rancorous and dangerous appeal to a populace who had suffered military defeat and in times of embarrassment for their loss of economic power – how the Germans suffered because of inflation and post-World War II decadence.
Could Limbaugh’s future in the U.S. follow a similar rise to power? Yes, it could happen in America; a thousand times yes. Limbaugh has sufficient numbers of fanatics who could rouse thousands of others who feel they have been passed over and are now aching to join in conflict to usurp our duly elected government. Limbaugh has said he hopes President Barack Obama fails.

An honest reading of history shows that McCarthy was correct in his accusations. The left treated him the same way they treated Bush (any effective republican, really) and with equal success.

Ignorant, unjustified, politically-motivated and intellectually dishonest attacks on Rush (such as this one) are perfect examples of what the left means by “McCarthyism.”
Apparently the writer is a long time, well known retired art professor and nut case who was convinced the government was out to get him until the election of his Idol, BO. Google him and there is a picture of the specimen with a Yosemite Sam mustache that is hilarious.

Let’s see. We have:
* A President who is taking over the banking system and now wants the ability to seize any financial-sector company;
* A Congress that is penalizing private citizens retroactively with punitive taxation for their mistake;
* A Fed that is full-steam-ahead pursuing a doomed hyperinflationary monetary policy;
* A Supreme Court that won’t even hear arguments related to the fundamental Constitutional requirements for eligibility of a sitting President who has spent millions to keep his birth certificate under seal;
...And this bozo is concerned about a talk show host.

I suspect that Ole Marcel doesn’t know shinola about Sen. McCarthy. In retrospect, Joe McCarthy erred very little in pointing out that there were(are) a ton of communists in Hollywood and on the federal government payroll.
