Faces comments including, 'Take the Reynolds Wrap off your head'

A new member of Congress arrived in Washington to a flood of questions from his constituency about Barack Obama's eligibility to be president: Was he really born in the United States, and was he qualified under the Constitution's requirement that the office be occupied only by a "natural born" citizen?

So U.S. Rep. Bill Posey did what most congressmen would do regarding a subject of grave concern to their voters: He proposed a bill that would require future presidential candidates to document their eligibility. And that has earned him scorn and ridicule.

"What you should do is stop embarrassing yourself and take the Reynolds Wrap off your head," MSNBC commentator Keith Olbermann suggested to Posey.

U.S. Rep. Neil Abercrombie, D-Hawaii, has gone so far as to suggest that Posey's judgment is skewed.

Posey is right. Thank goodness for Repubs with guts. Olberman is a joke.

God forbid a Representative should do what his constituents request!

I’m going to send Rep. Posey a note and give him an “atta boy”. I suggest we all do so!

The Constitution just has a few simple requirements of a President, but i guess it is too much to ask.

I guess he must be hitting a nerve. All they can do is name calling and repeating lies.

Unfortunately, the document is almost obsolete. Few pay any attention to the Constitution anymore.

If Olberman is against you, you must be doing something right.

Apparently so. I mean, in just this last AIG dealing I count EIGHT violations of the Constitution by the congress:

I would say it’s a good bet that they no longer care, nor even care to pretend to care anymore.

Done.

Not only contact Posey, but we should all contact our Rep wether they are a Rep. or Dem. Let them know that “We the people” aren’t happy with our elected officials not doing what they swore they would do and that is defend our Constitution.

_______________

Olberman should admit himself to the nearest mental hospital before they have to come get him and carry him away in a straight jacket as he wets himself.

Methinks the apologists doth protest way too much. Such overdone scorn hides a deep fear that the suspicions may be correct.

Yes we should. I wrote a long letter to my Rep asking him to join Congressman Posey also.

I’d like to see Posey, or some other Congress Critter, get OBama’s college records opened. I’m not thinking of his Grades, but of his Applications for Enrollment and for Grants, Etc.
Did He ever request, or get, preferences as a “Foreign” or “Foreign Born” Student?

Posey isn't even asking for Obama’s BC and they're going ballistic. They obviously don't care if Obama doesn't have a legit BC either, which means they want the Constitution shredded into tiny pieces.

Methinks Olbermann doth protest too much.

What is wrong in having a law that insists that a candidate prove his eligibility?

Especially when it is crystal clear that there is a loophole right now that any usurper could drive a bus through? - and may have already done so...
