Gay magazine Genre will be suspended due to the ongoing recession, it has been announced. The monthly lifestyle magazine is taking a respite, according to CEO David Unger.
Unger said in a statement posted on their official website, "We thank all of our readers, advertisers and editorial staff for their support throughout our 16-year history and hope that we can re-establish our relationship when times are better."
He also clears that the suspension of Genre magazine, a is part of the Window Media publication, does not affect the other magazines held by the gay press publisher, including the Washington Blade, Southern Voice, and HX magazine.
Genre was launched in 1991 as a quarterly magazine focused on LGBT lifestyle. It was not until 2002 that it tackled more issues, including spirituality, home design, and healthful lifestyle issues of the community.

I think there biggest problem wasn't any sort of recession.

Everyone got tired of the articles on hand signals for scoring in a public restroom.

I think if the gay population was really 10% like they always claim, using the fake Kinsey number, they wouldn’t be suspending publication.
For which I am not shedding a single tear, mind you.

Al Gore looks lots younger and thinner here.
I wonder if Al read this magazine? All good liberals should support their publications.
