Yup. 40 international reporters covered the AIG protests.

There where more reporters than protesters.

5 to 7k show up and the MSM is nowhere to be found

I tried to remind Harry Reid of this and he blew me off with a form letter that had nothing to do with mine. Jerk.

And if the "Anti-Bush" protests were small they'd film it at an angle to make it look like thousands showed up.

The MSM in this country is despicable.

Nice Guy. You have his # and Pelosi is even worse.

Pelosi is presiding over this 160 mil AIG bonus thing, what did she earmark for SF wetlands? It was a similar amount over 100 Mil.

Yup we are all in a tizzy that people should get paid for their work but no one gives a shit that Nancy would spend the same amount of taxpayer cash to save the SF salt marsh mouse.

CALL THEM OUT PEOPLE

This looks like a huge crowd.

Did it get much media?

It made the front of the Orlando Sentinel online edition, but I don’t see it in the Sunday print edition. I didn’t hear anything about it on Fox News or CNN today. I didn’t watch the local news. But this is par for the course.

Didn’t MSNBC say that if it’s not reported, it’s not news?

In contrast, the Anchorage Daily News & DU headline is that “dozens” of protestors urged GOV Palin to take stimulus money.

I rest my case.

Excellent pictures! There were SO many good signs, but two really jumped out at me.

“Don't say we didn't warn you.”

and

“Obama is afraid of Rush”

There was a segment on Channel 12, a West Palm Beach T.V. station, tonight. It gave a good review of the event.

Not a peep was heard from the press in the early 1990s when 60,000 (I think that was the estimated attendance) or so people came from all over America to Fort Collins, Colorado, for Dan's Bake Sale, an unorganized, impromptu rally on the pretense of helping a caller to Limbaugh's show, a guy named Dan from Fort Collins, pay for a subscription to the Limbaugh Letter. My folks were retired and vacationing on the road at the time.

They were among the then-new Limbaugh's listeners, and they went to Dan's Bake Sale themselves. Over the hundreds of miles they traveled to get there, they saw dozens and dozens of vehicles on the road with signs, "Dan's Bake Sale or Bust." Non Rush listeners would have no idea what those signs meant -- yet such signs spoke volumes to others who knew what Dan's Bake Sale was.

The media didn't report it -- not a peep. Yet Rush went on and is now the most listened-to radio talk show host in America, if not the world.

HAD THE MEDIA REPORTED IT for the genuine, profound phemonenon it was and Rush went on to become equally successful, how many of us would now still be thinking Rush's success had been a result of the media coverage of Dan's Bake Sale?

It is an excellent illustration of WHY it is a big mistake to let the MSM define the playbook or determine our moves. It is an excellent illustration of HOW the media creates illusions believed by millions. It is a perfect illustration of how the truth will out no matter what the MSM does or doesn't report.

The media didn't cover Dan's Bake Sale, not a peep. It wasn't media reportage or the lack of it that made Dan's Bake Sale a profound American happening. It was the 60,000 Americans who showed up that made it so. It will be the same with the Tea Parties.

My favorite Fox News Show - America’s Newsroom w/Megyn Kelly & Bill Hemmer - just did a report on the Orlando Tea Party @ 9:30 a.m. ET. It reported the crowd as 4000 & showed people signing the petition. They also offered a link to the April 15 tea parties.

Within 45 minutes, Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL) was on their show, quoting the Bible & claiming to be a moderate Democrat. Of course, at the same time, he was babbling that we need to raise tobacco & carbon footprint taxes to pay for global warming protection & health care.

Yay! My boys and I are photo 185!! This was a great day! Looking forward to the 15th. Boys got a great civics lesson, and can hold their own as to why they are there. I couldn’t be more proud :)
