Ed Morrissey says the GOP is “licking its chops” over the 2010 mid-term election.

Good luck.

Who's going to lead?

McCain? Steele? Huckabee? Palin? Jindal? Romney? Gingrich? David Frum and the “New” Republicans?

Without serious, principled, and highly disciplined leadership, the GOP is going straight to the political graveyard.

Nonsense!

It has been rare, in history, for Congressional campaigns to be “nationalized” -—

For the most part, Tip O’neil was right, “politics is local” -—

There is a good chance that 2010 WILL be more of a referendum on Obama than usual, for a mid term election.

However, each race can and will be determined on its own, and the “leader” for the Republicans, in each district, will be decided by the Republicans IN THAT DISTRICT!

There NEVER has been a Republican “General” in charge of every Congressional race.

Most Republicans would gag at such control or command.

Our job is to recruit candidates, where the sitting Republican is not acceptable, and to find a good conservative to run against every sitting Democrat.

“Without serious, principled, and highly disciplined leadership, the GOP is going straight to the political graveyard.”

If this isn’t a false move to get us to put down our pitchforks, it shows that the establishment is bringing pressure on Obama to back it down a bit. They are on the defensive, and don’t like it. Nutless republicans they can handle. But all this continual focus on their corruption and looting isn’t what they want. You know the congress is really hearing it in their offices.

So now Barack’s Brownshirts want to give our children uniforms and ship our elderly off to camps, I mean campuses. The lawsuits and who knows what else is really going to fly after King O, Queen Nancy, Prince Harry and Barney the happy jester try to impose this Nazi style remembrance on the general public. Nothing will anger people at our fool president and his band of thieves faster than taking their children and parents away.

The heat is rising on them and they must be feeling it, even though they still have a gushing media and millions of brainwashed fools. No administration, not even the polarizing ones hated by their enemies; W’s and Clinton’s were circulating this degree of dread and fear so fast.

The GOP could run the sawed off back end of a goat’s carcass and people would vote for them next year. The only issue is whether we will have the amnesty voters on the rolls and whether the election is legitimate.

By 2010 the country is going to be ready to pick random people off the street for Congress.

Don’t wait for 2010. There are some elections for open seats that need to become high profile conservative wins. High enough profile to scare those rare DINOs in congress and to make the more numerous RINOs there more scared of us + Rush than of Obama + MSM. We need to minimize the bleeding now! We also need to recruit and fund enough primary opponents to keep the RINOs scared. We won’t defeat all of them, but if the remaining mushy moderates feel enough heat coming from the right their voting records will improve.
