WASHINGTON While the subject of Barack Obama's birth certificate is still a topic most press outlets refuse to cover, it became a matter of sport in Vice President Joe Biden's Gridiron Dinner address this weekend.
After mentioning one of the Republican speakers for the evening, Arnold Schwarzenegger, was born in Austria and that one of the Democratic speakers, Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, was born in Canada, Biden chortled: "Folks, this is going to be Lou Dobbs' worst nightmare.
From there, Biden transitioned to the birth certificate controversy.

DD- Bless your heart, the longer you go, the kookier you sound.
If 100 verses said drunkenness is a sin and only one said it is good, you cannot ignore the one. You need to find a new theory to fit the facts of Scripture. Wine is good, drunkenness is bad is the only theory that fits the words of Scripture. I will ask you a few questions again. You have not responded.
He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for man to cultivate bringing forth food from the earth: wine that gladdens the heart of man, oil to make his face shine, and bread that sustains his heart. Psalms 104:14-15 Note that God made wine one of the three foods mentioned wine, oil and bread. Yet you say eating this food made by God is somehow a sin. Zechariah then equates making men glad with wine to hearts rejoicing with the Lord. The Ephraimites will become like mighty men, and their hearts will be glad as with wine. Their children will see it and be joyful; their hearts will rejoice in the LORD. Zechariah 10:7
So how can you possibly interpret these two verses as saying wine=sin? Just because there are many verses that say drunkenness is a sin, does not mean you can ignore these verses (and many others) that say wine is good.
The other question is the wedding at Cana. You really believe that Christ used the first recorded miracle of His public life to enabling sinful behavior among people?!?
Well, if he’s absolutely certain that the press is in his hip pocket, he can make jokes like this and get away with it, then he’s arrogrant; on the other hand, if he’s not so certain, then he’s stupid by not realizing that one joke might be all it would take to bring Obama down.
Amen!
Why did St. Paul advise St. Timothy: “Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities.” I Timothy 5:23 ??
Ditto that.
People, people, people. What we have here is one sick puppy who desperately needs this attention and ya’ll are giving it to him/her/whatever. Bottom line, h/h/w wants to tell you how to live and is the one and only authority about the “good book” and what it means. Personally, a nice glass of wine is a wonderful gift from God and I’ll drink to that.
Wine, water, or goat's milk.
That's pretty much the three things that were available back then, and in that part of the world.
Maybe it was wine, but Jesus turned it into grape juice.
What I want to know is, if it was GRAPE JUICE, where did they get the SUGAR?
Well said and duly noted....still, it’s fun to watch h/h/w dig ever deeper holes.
I wonder if our current Dear Leader drinks alcoholic beverages? More than likely.

Not unlike the current crop of Libs, trashing the constitution and telling us how to live. I don't let up with them, either.
Right will triumph. Hopefully these idiots will see the error of their way, but they must be shown.
