That's my thought too. He probably means an army of volunteers. Something tells me this bonehead is NOT an insider to any "war".

I would say this is a figurative, not literal army. I would hope so, but he didn't speak of army like an "army of volunteers". If he didn't want this to be taken literally, he shouldn't have prefaced his statement by using words like "looking for a fight".
