I would certainly take no offense; I’ve had many “non-Marines” and upstanding Americans offer me a “Semper Fi” from time to time.

You may know that US Marines are “Always Faithful” to God, Country and Corps.

I would suspect that you are faithful to the first two parts of that creed as you probably would not be visiting “Freeperland.”

I do indeed know the faithfulness of the Corps. Great people. My dad was a Navy "Frogman" in WWII. UDT Team 6. I served in the AF (my buddy wanted me to join up with him) Should have gone Navy like my dad... Oh well.
