Very little coverage of the Tea Parties
Self | 3/22/09 | Self

If the media won't come to the Tea Parties, we need to take the Tea Parties to the media.

It will be more difficult for the media to ignore the Tea Parties if we would hold them at the media's offices.

Are you surprised. To a large extent, if it’s not in the MSM it didn’t happen.

It’s because it’s hapenig while the media’s favorite party is in charge. They wouldn’t let up the reporting for a second if the pub’’s had the power.

All the media are covering the “massive” demonstrations at AIG exec’s homes.

I guess it would be tough to get a ‘permit’ to hold them at the head office of the local newspaper... But it would be nice for everyone to stop and say hello on the drive home

I can give you the contact info for the people heading up the tea parties in San Diego. They are at TCOT.com. if you want to check them out and pass your suggestion along.

Anyone can help out. In fact, they are looking for more help. :)

Maybe a good old fashioned sit in at their building entrances...all of them...while a representative group goes to the news station within...no violence, just minor civil disobedience so they cannot ignore us. Some arrests will probably be made...but the media will not be able to ignore us.

Maybe. If we cater to the Drive-By Media (location, message, organization) it gives them power over us. Not good, I suggest.

It seems we are doing quite well getting our message out amongst ourselves via pics, blogs, message boards, youtube vids, etc., etc. To that extent, WE DON’T NEED THE DRIVE-BY MEDIA.

I think this thing will continue to grow in size and power that they will not be able to ignore it. We will figuratively cram it up their a$$es.

And that will be sweet retribution.

All just my opinion, of course.

Or use their biases against them. I say before each tea party we should call the local media, pretending to be Code Pink/some leftist group, and say we are going to be counterprotesting the protest.

Wait till April 15 and see the ridicule the tea parties receive from the m.s.m.

Wait until we start throwing “POLITITIONS” overboard like “MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY”, then MSM will wake up.
