Obama's bracket, Day 2

Another brutal day for President Obama's NCAA Tournament bracket. He was just 8-for-16 on the day and he would be pretty much eliminated from contention in most pools.

The biggest hits he took were Cleveland State's win over Wake Forest and Wisconsin's win over Florida State, which eliminated two of his Sweet 16 teams.

He's in pretty good shape in the West Region, where he's only missed one game. His Midwest Region is a disaster with five incorrect first-round picks.

Overall, Obama picked 19 of 32 first-round games correctly. In his defense, he probably hasn't had much time to follow hoops this season. We'll check back in at the end of the tournament to see how he did. At least his champion (North Carolina) is still alive.

Did anyone out there do worse than the president?

Shocked that the refs didn’t throw the games to fit his bracket. (joking) Maybe only half joking. He prides himself on being an expert on basketball — guess the expert didn’t do so well.

Our Dear Leader, in an economic downturn, took the time to make and publicize his *basketball gambles*?

Gosh. The next thing you know, he will be making daylong cross-counrry trips on Air Force One at taxpayer expense just to appear on teeheevee programs.

So how well did his bets turn out anyways?

I wouldn’t be shocked if the refs favored North Carolina, his championship pick. The media loves UNC/Duke anyway.

I’ll bet there’s a Special Olympics kid somewhere with better brackets.

Yeah, but if he were doing well, you'd be slobbering all over yourselves to tell everyone about it every step of the way.

BTW, I'm currently ranked 209315th on Yahoo with 30 of 38 correct.

I don't even like basketball.

Another brutal day for President Obama's NCAA Tournament bracket.

No problem, he will have Congress pass a bill to re-instate his picks on monday.

Isn't that how things work now?

So he resorts to crazy-a$$ed guesses so the guys will think he is a cool basketball fan?
