Which interview was that, Aroostok? The only one Obama's grandmother Madelyn Dunham gave in 2004 when his birthplace was not an issue? Or the one done post-mortem by a psychic?

We the people, either collectively or individually, have a First Amendment RIGHT to "petition the government for a redress of grievances." That should mean that any citizen of the United States has standing to challenge a Constitutional violation.

If you read a little on Leo Donfrio's website "naturalborncitizen.com", the SCOTUS hands are constitutionally tied in many ways so perhaps there is still an opportunity to make the case. It just has to be based upon existing legal statutes and brought forth in the proper chain of events. I think that forcing the hand of our representatives in Congress to provide proof of his qualifications to serve would be a first step. After all, they pledge an oath to the constitution, not the people they serve. We must insist that they obey their oath's of office or face recall efforts.
That last sentence is not true. The data published by newspapers for birth announcements can come from many sources including information provided by family members. For example, when my youngest daughter was born, my mother placed an announcement in my home town paper by simply calling it in. It was included along with all of the other birth announcements, in the same format.
In addition, we already know that the birth was registered... but by who? Madelyn Dunham is a good candidate. She could also have provided the birth announcement to the papers, wanting her friends and and Stanley Ann's to know of the birth. While it is evidence, it is not definitive.
Since his father wasn’t a citizen of the United States, it doesn’t matter WHERE he was born. He’s not a natural born citizen as required by the Constitution.

Here again, this article is not even as fulsome as the earlier one you linked, at least that one quoted her actual words. Given the actual quote in the other article, this one doesn't say anything more than that they have seen that they have it on file.
Again, there is NO support here for your contention that the state officials have examined the information on the face of the document and compared it to a purported COLB posted on someone's website.
They have verified that they have seen that his birth certificate is on file; I think that IS clear.
I think your idea of having a court proceeding to find out is fine, that's an excellent idea.
I have no idea what his long form birth certificate says, it may well say he was born in Hawaii in such and such hospital. Who knows.
