Frustrated black lawmakers staged a walkout Friday after the Georgia House decided to delay another vote on a resolution that would have honored President Barack Obama as a politician with an “unimpeachable reputation for integrity, vision and passion.”

HUH? The guy is a devastatingly incompetent idiot. These Dumbocrats are whackage jobs. Massive whack jobs!

How about simply “we find this mindless idol worship a waste of the people’s resources”

To almost any prominent black you can think of, race is what matters most of all, and color-blindness is not to be found.

Disease has tragically affected people like J.C.Watts, Michael Steele, Coln Powell, among others.

The entire rogue government of this country is impeachable, including these doofuses from georgia. What are they gonna pass after this? A resolution stating how beautiful Michelle Obama is? It’s time we stopped lying to ourselves. We elected a flaming jackass, and we are gonna pay an inconceivable price for it.

The resolution is a damn lie. It's also a wasteful exercise in legislative fluff. The lawmakers have no business cobbling up this kind of wasteful crap. The walkout of the black legislators just labels them as a bunch of race pimps.

Apparently, NOT being a sycophant is now considered a snub.

I wonder if they passed similar legislation for George W. Bush in 2001.

“Two or three words can be changed and this matter can be voted on,” said Richardson, R-Hiram. “It’s a matter of less than five words that are objectionable.”

I agree. Here's how I would vote FOR the resolution:

a politician with an “unimpeachable reputation for integrity, vision and passion. corruption, dishonesty and for being a Marxist.”

See how easy that is. I'd vote to resolve that.

“It drips with racism,” said state Rep. Al Williams

You can say THAT again. Honoring an unknown, unproven politician simply because he’s black and POTUS is beyond racist.

Adios.

Don’t let the door hit you in the butt...but I hope it does anyway...with sharp nails protruding from it.

I don’t know all that much about the Georgia legislature specifically, but they ARE politicians. Chances are, they are ALREADY a bunch of liars.

Can you get more racist than these people who want to award a racist?

“This seems to add credibility that there’s an undertone of racism here, an undertone of mean-spiritedness, an undertone of the efforts to repress the minority legislators,” said state Sen. Emanuel Jones, the chairman of the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus.

I don’t suppose that anyone pointed out that the existance of a black caucus is racist.

I think the JURY is out still on this resolution, and we have to wait and see if all of these attributes work out. I don’t think the gov’t of Georgia is going to collapse if it isn’t passed today. Give the man some time, and he’ll be a REAL PEACH, and the Georgia Peach State could say he was a very PEACHABLE and hard working President, after hours was a lot of partying, but let’s wait and see...then vote.

Racist? I wonder what these black lawmakers would do/say if this was a resolution supporting Vice President Dick Cheney.

He’s right. It does drip with racism.

Black race-baiting racism.

(I too can call it like it is.)
