Any congressman that votes yea on this should be impeached from office. This is the kind of garbage they pull in Latin America (think Argentina). Not here.

I agree. And using the IRS to effectively punish people is like something out of the mafia. Sick.

This is series. Mark this day if this legislationis passed. Our reprensentatives will be telling us if they pass this, our laws do not matter. The citizens of this country will be at risk. As another poster has said, time to lock and load. This is going to get ugly....

Looks like Republicans are trying to hold their feet to the fire.
Draw back is Republicans have crafted a bill to recoup this money too.

My gut feeling is this is just a grand staging event probably planned from the beginning if anyone caught onto to their shenanigans. Basically the Democrats are not going to screw AIG because they have been helping to fund the Democrats through donations etc., and keeping the housing fraud going. My gut feeling on this is that the AIG executives that got the AIG bonuses will not pay a dime of taxes on their bonuses because will be a bunch of loop holes built into the bill and because the Democrats have already talked to them about tax deductions and loop holes etc. Again my gut feeling is that this is all grand staging to make the narrow minded Obamanots to keep believing that the democrats are for the working class and are going to stick it to the rich. More likely if the AIG exeecutives probably won't pay their taxes just like most of the Democratic politicians don't pay there taxes.
