I believe we are also starting to see a movement away from that “we’re too busy working to do anything” mindset of many conservatives to a “if we don’t do anything we’re toast” mentality and it’s about G.D. time.
I think the Achille’s heel of the Tea Parties is lack of coordination of schedules. Pick a date and roll with it. It will have a much greater impact.

I’ve seen the opposite viewpoint on the “coordination” of the tea parties.

This needs to be a de-centralized movement. It needs to be led by localized leaders, and not by some central coordinating authority. Central planning is a leftist concept, not a free man’s concept.

I’d like to see more buisness give the employees the day off without pay, and explain to the workforce that the situation in DC needs your undivided attention. Just for one day. Employees need to see where the bread comes from. No one likes to miss a payday.
