Brian72 has provided us with an excerpt of an interview featured in the March edition of the Limbaugh Letter. Rush interviewed Bernard Golberg about his latest book, "A Slobbering Love Affair: The True (and Pathetic) Story of the Torrid Romance Between Barack Obama and the Mainstream Media."
RUSH: I know there is a contempt; Joe the Plumber was one of the most illustrative examples. Here you've got this poor guy who's minding his own business, an Obama rally ends up next to him. So he asks a question. And it was not a question that was pre-approved. It was not an approved question, period. And so the Democrats go into action with the assistance of the media to destroy this guy.
GOLDBERG: Correct.
RUSH: They look into his private records at the state. They find out where his tax liens are. They do everything they can to destroy this guy's reputation -- while at the same time they are concerned as hell that we might be monitoring phone calls from terrorists in Baghdad and elsewhere who might be planning attacks on the United States. But it's clearly fine for them to go out and destroy an Ohio citizen who dared ask a question of Obama that might embarrass him or expose one of his ideas that he was trying to cover up. And there was no compassion for what was done to this little guy-- and yet the liberals claim to stand for the little guy.

That second one up is a very tacky photo shop that the left created and pushed and still pushes very hard, do you really need to post something so offensive of our currently most attacked conservative?
Can you imagine all the photoshopped pictures the lefties will have ready if Palin runs again in four years.
Yes, Sarah is gorgeous. But what makes her so beautiful is her mind and heart... and with so many real pics of her, there is no need for denigrating fakes.
I was responding to another poster with a sense of humor.
bump
That looks like a tombstone.
“But what makes her so beautiful is her mind and heart”
I like her smile. It’s genuine.
If this doesn't make your heart melt...
what makes her so beautiful is her mind and heart.
Maybe we could post some MRI or ultrasound images of them.
I kind of lean toward thinking her smoking hot body, beauty queen face, long mane, and fashionable form fitting wardrobe might be a factor too. Mother Theresa had a good mind and heart also, but she ain't on my babe list.
If she were a flaming Marxist liberal airhead... I couldn't care less about her outer appearance. Would you?
Palin is so lovely because she is the perfect combination of beauty, brains and heart.
You are beginning to see the and maybe to understand the great wisdom of the founding fathers when they decided it was not a good idea to give women the responsibility to vote.
How about the right to be voted? Are you against this also?
Sheesh...
Please add me to the Palin Ping
You can see PDS at work on a daily basis, whether it’s in the MSM, individual blogs, or those adding their stupid, and often vile comments to items about Palin. PDS has now lasted over 6 months, which is the criteria used by the American Psychiatric Association to determine if something is a real mental illness or just something that resolves itself after a short time.
What the hell is “the right to be voted” mean? If it means the right of a women to hold elected office then I suppose anything up to the level of PTA president for the local school would be ok.
Let me check.... Yep! I'm still a man. I'd hate her politics, but still see the physical beauty.
Matter of factly if we were to revise the electoral system... make a basic civics test, photo ID and proof of having worked for at least 4 years mandatory.
Or: Sarah XLV.
Either way, I agree C% .
One does not have to be a frequenter of media newsrooms to know that the left.values intelligence over decency. I think the basic "why" of this phenomenon is perhaps suggested in this previous post:
The real fundamental difference between liberals and conservatives is the absence of or the belief in God. Liberals essentially reject God because they are committed to playing God. All of the rest of the belief structure, all the posturing of concern and commitment to society, all of the convolution of the language, all of the rejection of a rational discrimination, is nothing but a rationalization allowing the liberal to play God. This is the oldest and gravest sin known to the Judeo-Christian tradition. All of the hate, intolerance, and vilification of Christianity (read Sarah Palin) is a visceral reaction to the frustration they encounter from conservatives as they play God. Ann Coulter got it right in the tagline to one of her books: "they would be God." The ultimate example of playing God is the issue of "choice." Fundamental to the Judeo-Christian heritage is respect for human life because it is a creation of God. Abortion, even more than slavery, is the ultimate in playing God, one declares his transcendence over God's creation and in the stroke of a knife becomes God himself.
"Decency" is fundamentally a moral value. In other words decency, relative to indecency, is good. It is a moral good and it is morally better than indecency. This in turn implies that there is a standard for judging relative decency which standard pre-exists the entrance of of the liberal onto the scene and it is a pre-existing standard which is immutable. If one is out to play God, one must reject such standards-as atheists energetically reject the 10 Commandments-because it restricts the God players ability to play God.
So the liberal substitutes "intelligence" for decency because he subconsciously believes that he is God, and, not surprisingly he unconsciously or even consciously believes that he is smarter than everybody else and that his solutions to problems that he perceives are better than anyone else's.
The liberal is a little bit like Mae West who, when a female acquaintance expressed admiration over a diamond ring on May's finger saying, "goodness what a beautiful ring," replied, "goodness had nothing to do with it."
