I had the misfortune of having FOX on the other night and catching Huck’s show. What a snooze fest that is! Never liked the guy but he’s hokey enough to be a new Paul Harvey. But I bet Paul’s son is a bit upset!

Riiiiight, Mitt is a “lib’rul” for being governor of a state like Massachusetts, just like Ronald Reagan was one for being governor of a state like California. And in the late ‘60s, no less!
Why he musta been one them goddamn hippies!

Wow, it’s amazing. You managed to turn a Huckster thread into another Slick Willard worship thread. As if the other 10,000 aren’t enough for you bozos.

Again... blaming Huckabee for our current political situation is rather juvenile and reminds me of that “Official Seal of the Democrat Party” logo that was bouncing around here back several years back with the crying baby in the center... except change it to Official Seal of the Mitt Romney Supporters”.

Even Huckabee would have been less harmful as POTUS than Obama - but then again, Hillary would probably have been less damaging to the Republic than Obama...

But I am not convinced ANY of the Republican candidates would have been able to pull off a win last November. From the looks of the results in nearly every major race - people just didn’t want to vote for anyone with an “R” next to their name.

I am not sure that works because we were subjected to Mitt’s, Road to the Whitehouse conservatism.

No, Dick, he wasn’t just a lib. He was a Socialist Governor, and that’s him signing his Marxist Med plan for Massachusetts (including those wonderful $50 abortions !). Notice him yukking it up with Ted the Swimmer and Sally DiMasi, all his best rodent buds. Here you can see him signing away any credibility of being an expert in economics, since that budget-buster has been a nightmare ever since. Do try again to sound like you actually know something instead of repeating the talking points of a Myth.

When it comes to the last election, Romney was as much at fault for McCain as Huckabee. They are both RINOs.

"Anything to keep him [them both] out of politics.

Fixed it.

That Reagan and Ted picture looks polite but it doesn’t even come close to “yuckin’ it up”.

Fine, you stick with 0bama.
Hey, the liberal MSM keep telling us he’s the new Ronald Reagan...
Looks like you’re as smitten as ol’ Peggy Noonan.

Wow, you sure like sliming Ronald Reagan, and that’s the second time in this thread. Of course it’s no surprise coming from a Slick Willard sycophant, as he had no use for Ronald Reagan, either.

Of course, unlike in your pictures, Slick Willard is signing off on a Ted Kennedy-supported piece of Marxist legislation. I don’t see Reagan signing it, do you ?

But I think if Fred had never gotten in, McCain would not have been the nominee.

Bzzt. Wrong answer.

Fiscal conservatives wouldn't vote for Huck.

Religious conservatives wouldn't vote for Romney.

And the areligious moderate Country Clubbers wanted to take back control of the GOP away from the 2 factions of conservatives. The Country Clubbers played both factions like a fiddle and got their man in McCain.

I saw that tonight. I like her and I like Fred, but never was in line with his being the nominee as I saw early on there were chinks in his armor.

After seeing her tonight, I like her a lot more. Ya know, I am thinking,”who better to head up the RNC?” She knows her way around, is ambitious and I believe she would be perfect for the job. If I am wrong, still, I do not think we can help but do better than Steele. What do ya’ think?

“But the Huckster just has never connected with an audience.”

What is his electoral win loss record versus Romney?

I’m not sliming Ronald Reagan.
I’m making fun of people like you.
You’re just too thick to see it.

“I like Paul Harvey, Jr. Why wouldn’t he be doing the show?”

I agree! He sounds just like his dad. He does a fine job. Wish he got the job.

"I’m not sliming Ronald Reagan."

Now you're just lying after you were caught. How like a Slick Willardbot.

"I’m making fun of people like you."

You mean actual Conservatives.

"You’re just too thick to see it."

You've just been exposed, bud. Perhaps you should trot your little lib butt over to DU since you're so big into worshipping Socialists like Slick Willard.

Romney had more delegates than the Huckster before dropping out.
In the end the Huckster won 4 more pledged delegates than Romney, only because he stayed in the race a full month longer.
