Dodd acknowledged his role in the change after a Treasury Department official told CNN the administration pushed for the language.
Both Dodd and the official, who asked not to be named, said it was because administration officials were afraid the government would face numerous lawsuits without the new language.
---snip--
"I agreed reluctantly," Dodd said. "I was changing the amendment because others were insistent."

How about the billions of taxpayer money that went to English, German, and French banks? The world is VERY jealous of Americans and their wealth. They love to see us knocked on our faces. This is a huge heist and we will be paying for generations. A HUGE transfer of wealth...

I feel like this country has been made to play a game of "Clue" over this question of who included the loophole in the Stimulus that AIG (and others) could get their bonuses from our tax bailout funds.
It was first Professor Plum who did it, in the treasury. No, it was Mr. Green, in the hearing room. Wrong, Col. Mustard ordered it, in the oval office with a pen. Whoever, whatever...they are all running around blaming everyone else and expecting that all Americans are so stupid that we won't care and they can excuse themselves for a "mistake" that, as Reid said "was hindsight now." This is the most disgusting Administration and Congress ever. Since Obama got elected all the snakes have come out from under the rocks to plague us, feeling safe since their president is so inept and corrupt himself that they can get away with anything.

Even after the election, all of them said how GLAD they were to have BO, after these past eight DISASTROUS years. I simply said at the time I hoped he would do half as well as Bush and were they steamed at that one!

And to think the American people, or make that “some” American’s want these buffoons and crooks taking care of this country’s health care.

I think it says pretty all you need to know that Obama and Dodd were the #1 & #2 Senate recipients of AIG campaign donations.

Appearing on Leno in the middle of a crisis. How UNpresidential. Didn't anyone tell him the campaign is over? Talk about demeaning the office. We have elected a monkey as POTUS. I doubt he has any clue that the election is over. That's all he's good at. This "Ruling" stuff is way above his pay grade...

These traitorous bastards apparently forget....
the entire country (excluding clueless, Stuck-On-Stupid Obama supporters) know what he and the rest of his thugocracy DemocRats look like. If or when the country does finally tank....they will ALL be living on borrowed time....and looking over their shoulders for their remaining time on earth.

Perhaps AIG should have given Dodd the same 110 grand they gave to honest-Abe Obama.

That jealousy of America and our wonderful lifestyle has been seething with our enemies for decades now. This whole thing is all about bringing America and Americans to their knees. Let’s give them all another whopping big surprise, instead!

the administration pushed for the language. Of course they did. They intended this to be a distraction from Obama's destruction of our economy. Woo-o-o, let's get the big, bad AIG bailout boogeyman!
