Isn’t it ironic that more that 50% of the bonus money goes right back into gubermint coffers? I guarantee that New York State and New York City will get their share of the bonus money, not to mention the Feds, and only the employees will get shafted. For those that voter for the Obamateur, Ha! Ha!

The AIG bailout was just a loan right? So, if they go under (which they will since they are giving away millions to failures), will they be obligated to pay it back?

Well .. according to Constitution and Connecticut Law (where AIG is housed)... YES.
Contracts are as SACRED as our CONSTITUTION.. if the Feds can alter a contract at WILL.. they have WON and our Constitution is as useful as TOILET PAPER.
Besides under Connecticut LAW.. refusal to pay those, employees WILL SUE (AND WIN) thus making AIG responsible for Double Damages AND Legal Fees
So.. either PAY the 165MILL or take your chance on having to pay 350 MILLION... I’m not that much of a GAMBLER.

MY theory on all this is that Obama and co were getting scared by the outrage against the government shown in the conservative Tea Party movement and are trying to hijack it for their own ends.
SOCIAL SECURITY CHANGES
It doe s not matter if you personally like or dislike Obama. You need to sign this petition and flood his e-mail box with e-mails that tell him that, even if the House passes this bill, he needs to veto it.
It is already impossible to live on Social Security alone. If the government gives benefits to 'illegal' aliens who have never contributed, where does that leave those of us who have paid into Social Security all our working lives?
As stated below, the Senate voted this week to allow 'illegal' aliens access to Social Security benefits. Attached is an opportunity20to sign a petition that re quires citizenship for eligibility to that social service.
