I didn't see a thread- it's live now on C-Span 3.
Geithner isn't appearing, Frank has said "we" should bring a lawsuit against AIG.

Scott Garret came out strong (R-NJ) but then Blarney Frank came back at him. Scott didn;t hace a thrilling comeback.
Max Baucus wasted everyone’s time. But he did say Congress cannot run AIG—heck they could not even oversee the new Capitol Visitor’s Center properly, he said.
Congressman Price of Georgia just sliced and diced Obama and Geithner.
Mike Castle of Delaware up now. Wants the whole story. Where was Treasury oversight?

Not sure which one of the Rep’s it was (had an R after his name) just said THIS is part of the problem- we had no business getting the government into this in the first place.

Spencer Bachus wisely pointed out that Congress is not capable of running pretty much anything.

Poop! I don’t have CSPAN 3.
Just as well- I’d just end up hurling the tv through the window, I just know it.

Smoke a mirrors to cover up the real story, billions in taxpayer funds that went to other places through our “governments” world money laundering scheme.

Was just thinking of you, Mom...and voila’! Did you see Pelosi pandering to the illegals? I loved when Megyn said that Barry didn't know what he was doing.

Was that who said we should never have gotten involved in AIF in the first place? I was typing and missed his name.
Unrelated but...Do you ever get the feeling that Congress is less-informed than your average freeper?

Do you ever get the feeling that Congress is less-informed than your average freeper? There is no doubt about that. They don't write or read their own legislation and they don't run their offices. Their staffs do.

Carol Maloney, Space Cadet-D, NY up now. Authoring law to tax 100% of bonus.
These folks pissed away over $ 1.5 trillion without oversight or scrutiny since Sept 30, 2008, and they are going apoplectic about a measly $ 165 million.
That’s the real outrage.
Royce, R-CA on now. Says he was against the bailout in the beginning and wrote aneditorial which has now come true—that we would have this disaster.
Hodes of NH(Dem) now railing about AIG—stands for arrogance, incompetence, greed.
That’s reminds me of Congress.

It was Tom Price--(R-GA).

Don’t got that either.
(I’m a cheapskate, have the cheapest tier for Dish, the Family pak-only because I could get Fox News with it, the next level up only offered CNN and HLN.)
