Yo Pope,
Wear a Cross and a Star of David and pray for world peace.

They put Jesus on the cross outside the gate of Jerusalem but the Pope is not supposed to wear one. Right.

Wear your cross, Holy Father, it is a part of your papal dress, you never take it off. Just bring the pictures of JPII wearing his, and don’t let them intimidate you because of your heritage. That is pretty much what it is about.

Pope should comply with one caveat.
Rabbi must join him for a ham sandwich.

A piece of gold on a chain is nothing compared to the Pope’s beliefs. I suppose he’ll be asked to leave those at home as well? Talk about a slap in the face.

"My position is that it is not fitting to enter the Western Wall area with religious symbols, including a cross," Rabinovitch told The Jerusalem Post. Reb, with all due respect, kish mir in tuchis.
You should be happy. He's already wearing a yarmulke.

I wonder if he was offended by the shenanigans of that swarthy leprechaun O’bama last year.
To: TaraP
I'm not familar with Rabbi Rabinovitch. Is he a serious Jewish religious leader, or is he the Jewish version of "Reverend" Fred Phelps?

The man that was crucified on that cross was Jewish. How much more appropriate can you get?

I can’t imagine anyone making a problem if an Orthodox Jew entered a Catholic Church in full regalia. This is more of a secular and political attitude than a religious one, IMHO.

Kind of what they told Peter to do as well. He didn’t listen either.
