Hugo Chavez doesn't have almost unlimited money and the world's strongest military behind him, yet he's made himself president-for-life. Lord knows what Obama can accomplish in the next four years.

The world’s strongest military isn’t exactly behind the guy: they barely clap for him. They’ll follow his lawful orders but if he started getting all sideways, we’d see the military break up just like it did at the start of the Civil War.

Obama Is Serious About a Civilian National Security Force? Every once in a while you read/hear a conservative advocate for the very same thing. Being a fellow vet, it sickens me to read/hear it every single time. I know the percentage of individuals that volunteered who had a change of heart -- and you still were expected to lead those people. Imagine compulsory service...in anything.

Oh really? And who would make such a decision and what were the criteria to decide what was or was not in the best interest of the nation.
If this is true, then the JCS should have been court martialed. This is outrageous.

Yes, he plans to set up his "Black Panther" friends as the Civilian National Security Force.And take the guns away from the rest of us.
I don't think he will accomplish the latter.
