Specter may be the most arrogant, self-interested, self-important member of the US Senate. He is a treasonous thug, capable of the most egregious back-stabbing I have ever seen. Registered Republicans in PA ought to tell the GOP there that they will not contribute money or register with the Republican Party if there are open primaries.

What’s the sense of registering Republican, if you have no more say in picking the REPUBLICAN candidate than a NONRepublican?

The state GOP has to approve an open primary, at least, that is what happened in CA. I doubt that will happen.
