President didn't like earmarks, until he did (because he's a lying idiot)

President Obama sounded so mournful Wednesday about having to sign a $410 billion bill to fund the federal government that, for a second, I thought he would refuse.

He was not sad about the amount of money involved. These days, $410 billion is small potatoes. Obama's stimulus package was $787 billion. His budget for next year projects a $1.75 trillion deficit.

So $410 billion is probably in the range of what Bernie Madoff still has hidden away in his mattress.

No, it was not the amount that made the president so gloomy. It was the $7.7 billion for 8,570 pet projects that are contained in the bill and known as earmarks.

During his campaign, Obama had promised to end most earmarks, and now he is spending billions on them. This has ticked him off. Sort of.

"Done right, earmarks have given legislators the opportunity to direct federal money to worthy projects that benefit people in their districts, and that's why I've opposed their outright elimination," Obama said Wednes- day.

“Done right, earmarks have given legislators the opportunity to direct federal money to worthy projects that benefit people in their districts, and that’s why I’ve opposed their outright elimination,”

Done right the same things can be directed through the normal approval process, which these projects cannot pass muster, which is why they are earmarked.

O can lie and lie and abandon every position he has taken and he gets away with it. Take his claim on fiscal prudence. On one side, the liberal media can’t take that on because it is too big a lie, something that cannot be blamed on Obama’s aides. On the other side, the Republicans are crippled by the knowing shame they will be labeled hypocrites if they call Obama to the mat on spending.

Obama is not stupid, is not an idiot, and he is not bungling.

He is a liar.

But, he is also going about doing exactly what he intended, and what he promised with "fundamental change".

He does not intend to re-invigorate the free market. He is a marxist ideolog who intends to fundamentally change the free market to a command economy much more in line with the ideas of his marxist mentors.

When you understand this...all that he is doing makes perfect sense...and is also obviously geared towards the undoing of this Republic as we have traditionally known it.

That's why I pray we can limit his negative impact starting in 2010, and then turn it around with SARAH PALIN in 2012.

I was before earmarks before I was against them and I have never been to Vietnam.
