Done right the same things can be directed through the normal approval process, which these projects cannot pass muster, which is why they are earmarked.

O can lie and lie and abandon every position he has taken and he gets away with it. Take his claim on fiscal prudence. On one side, the liberal media can’t take that on because it is too big a lie, something that cannot be blamed on Obama’s aides. On the other side, the Republicans are crippled by the knowing shame they will be labeled hypocrites if they call Obama to the mat on spending.

As if there are no repub projects in the earmarks.

the rule is, other guys earmarks, pork, mine, useful constituent services.
