In its first TV ad since Barack Obama became president, the Democratic National Committee is highlighting South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford's (R) opposition to millions in stimulus funds for his state.
"South Carolina is facing tough times," the ad goes, "but Gov. Sanford is playing politics instead of doing whats right. Turning down millions in recovery act funds, putting politics ahead of health care, jobs and schools."
A source says the ad will run for at least a week on cable in South Carolina.

Yeah, the Democrat party is “putting politics ahead of health care, jobs and schools.”
Has been for years.

Sounds like someone who is choosing to do the right thing.
Good for Sanford! These same jackasses would be calling him a hypocrite in 3 years were he to take the money.
The gubner of my state had the big brass ones to ask for the money of any state that wasn't going to take the stimulus package. All the while Maryland receives the benefit of a nice percentage of Free Staters drawing down on the Federal teat.

His rhetoric is that of a true fiscal conservative, but the fact remains the SC Legislature controls spending. Makes you wonder if he is posturing for 2012.

In my opinion he is the best fit to run for President in 2012 and win based on his record, character, charisma, and executive experience.

the same can be said of his minions, the leftists.

The DNC can’t allow states to have rights. That isn’t part of the obama,Dean, Pelosi, Reid plan for the road to Communism.

Makes you wonder if he is posturing for 2012. There is little wonder in this mind. He is, along with several other key players.
To: jveritas
I saw Sanford last night on Greta and he did fine. I would like to see his stuff on the trail and in debate and I am quite open to supporting him if he shows the right stuff.
To: TribalPrincess2U
I just e-mailed him a thank you.
I will be watching this person for future donation consideration.
He is now in my “good Repubs” folder.
