Leftists just have a different definition for “freedom”.
Freedom to them is the freedom from responsibility for your choices,
not the freedom to succeed or fail based on your choices.
Agreed, declaration of war should have been made.
Also, Bush should have used tactical nukes on those valleys in Afghanistan within days of 9-11.
The nation should have been told we are now on war footing, there will be economic sacrifice to fight it.
Most Americans are so insulated from the war, they scarcely know it was going on during their daily lives.
Bush insulated and protected the people from it all too well.
Instead of “enemy combatants” just call them “Obama’s butt boys”.
