No year long trial, no media frenzy ... just a quick news piece or two and off he goes.

If Bernie Madoff is McVeigh then Pelosi is Hilter,Mao, and Stalin combined.

If you want to use that analogy, Bernie William Ayers Madoff is more accurate.

Short quick trial and no media attention. Then death penalty (or life in prison for Madoff). Essentially, there is much not being said. Someone had to be helping Madoff, but he’s not talking. Someone appears to not want that information out (congress critters?).

OJ lasted forever, but Waco was dozed in comparative days, so too OC building and T.McV. never spoke a word (that I heard, anyway), and was executed in probably the shortest time since Judge Roy Bean days.

Right. Something is kinda fishy about Madoff not going to trial. Why would he turn down one more year of freedom to come and go as he pleases during a trial?
I also wonder if some SEC people are running scared now.
There may be some culpability there as well.

If we only knew the Machiavellian tapestry of this scam....
..or maybe we shouldn't want to....it might be too frightening.

In a lot of countries, they would get the truth out of Madoff just with a little brush of cold iron on his cajones. Just a hint and he would fold. If he were really brave..he would have jumped from his Penthouse.
His wife belongs in jail. She withdrew money just prior to his confession.
May we need to do a “rendition” on this perp. Ship him to Israel in a G-5.

McVeigh CHOOSE not to appeal his sentence.
No government conspiracy.
No mystery.
To: RedMonqey
Do you think he had lots of help other than just that Nichols guy ?
