The big issue to me is they are investigating a guy who is protecting our country, while the mayors, council members and chiefs of police of sanctuary cities are not being investigated. A real chief of homeland security would reverse the priority.
This is an obvious an attempt by the open borders lobby to persecute Joe Arpaio for the “crime” of enforcing our immigration laws. And the complaint about discrimination by national origin is laughable - immigration laws by definition discriminate based upon a national origin outside of the USA.

Well, she did get rid of at least one illegal alien.
I’d say the priority here is the Hispanic voting block.

Arpaio's deputies are targeting people based on their skin color during neighborhood crime sweeps and raids at work sites.By some wacky coincidence, the people they pick up are illegal aliens, almost as if a neighboring country has loads of people with a darker range of skin color, few English speaking skills, and will work for low wages which seem like a fortune to them.
The sheriff is a prominent law-and-order conservative, nationally known, plus he’s tough on prisoners and does not moderate his stance much.
He obviously has to go in the new regime.
I wish him luck and wish I could help somehow.
