The Internet has been around for quite a while, but until the spread of web browsers in the 1990s, the collection of computers and networks was primarily used by the government and academia. The web browser brought the power of the Internet to "regular" people, and a whole era was launched. Shopping online? Even the word "online" didn't exist a few years ago.

In addition to shopping, social networking, e-mail checking, and on and on, actual, real work can be performed as well. There are many new sources of information which are quickly replacing the "old school" standbys such as the set of encyclopedias. But... how accurate is this information, and does it come with a "spin?"

“Why won’t he just have the spine to have Hawaii release the documents?”

Simple answer-

It would expose the fraud that he is.

Wikipedia is strictly for laughs.

It can be played by our side, too. I was over there yesterday "tweaking" the entry on Charlie Rangel, and now it's referenced to Michelle Malkin's YouTube page.

I love it!

Lately it is amazing how quickly the Left removes correct info from a Wiki because it exposes them.

I am sure they have people watching threads here, and when something really incriminating is found. It just magick’s away.

Anything related to politics or history is pretty much tainted at Wikipedia. It is a mostly useless resource in those subject areas.

Check out the CO2 entry.
First time I’ve ever heard of CO2 being “toxic”... in fact, I was quite under the impression that you could survive in a O2/CO2 atmosphere so long as there was enough oxygen in that mix. {That is, afterall, how/why the ‘rescue breathing’ part of CPR works, right?}

I find that the technical info is pretty good for my field {Comp. Sci.} And there’s always the ‘geek’ side of it. {Look up The Joker, Green Lantern, or something like that.}

Why won't he just have the spine to have Hawaii release the documents?

Something embarrassing about his paternity that doesn't fit the narrative he has sold about himself, no doubt.

This is not about science, it is about propaganda, power, and global governance.

Nothing more.

It is amazing the number of “educated” people who believe this crap.

They need to read: Memoirs of Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds by Mackay — 1852

“The Mississippi scheme — The south-sea bubble — The tulipomania — The alchymists — Modern prophecies — Fortune-telling — The magnetisers — Influence of politics and religion on the hair and beard — The crusades — The witch mania — The slow poisoners — Haunted houses — Popular follies of great cities — Popular admiration of great thieves — Duels and ordeals — Relics.”

I’ve said this for years: Brick and mortar public schools are obsolete.

I consider Wikipedia useful for non-controversial stuff. That’s about it.

I had people in one of my optical engineering classes try to cite it as a source for technical reports, LOL.
