Despite President Obama's concerted campaign to keep hidden his original birth certificate and other documentation that would verify his qualification for office, members of Congress are confident of his eligibility.
WND has reported on dozens of legal challenges to Obama's status under the Constitution's requirement that the president be a "natural born citizen." The Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, states, "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."
Some of the lawsuits question whether Obama was actually born in Hawaii, as he insists. Members of his family and government officials in Kenya have made statements that could be interpreted to mean he was born in Mombasa. If he was born out of the country, Obama's American mother, the suits contend, was too young at the time of his birth to confer American citizenship to her son under the law at the time.

Our lawmakers on both sides are airheads. There is only one reason for Obama to hide his birth certificate, and it isn’t because he was born in the US. Lawmakers are scared to death of the issue, because it can make them un PC, threaten social stability, and show them up for the cowardly, sleaze bags they are. Lawmakers didn’t do their job of making certain the Constitution was upheld. So what else is new? Obama was born in Kenya. He is a 0. He would be a 0 even if he were legally the president, but more so because he isn’t.
N-S goes into his first job interview for a job which requires a college degree.
The employer asks "Are you a college grad. NS replies, "Yes."
The employer says "May I see a copy of your certificate from the university." NS replies, "I didn't bring one."
The employer calls the records office and asks for a copy of the degree.
The registrar says can't release the information without the person's permission.
The employer asks for permission.
NS replies: it's your responsibility to prove I am not qualified, not mine to prove that I am.
I hope they have a real plan to officially nullify every law, budget, etc. that he signs when a Republican retakes the White House. Wouldn’t that piss off the little fire-breathers. If they knocked him out now, what the democrats shove down America’s throat could be very difficult to undo.
Ask your representatives to publicly push for a repeal of the non-Stimulus bill that they were forced to vote on before they were allowed to read it. Keep the message on the repeal instead of just defending against the next one.

You know what? I’ve come to the conclusion that the GOP isn’t covering for Obama. I think they believe that checking Obama’s eligibility is somebody else’s responsibility and that those responsible for it must surely have done so. Therefore, they refuse to get involved because they don’t believe such a fraud could be perpetrated.
They refer to “news agencies” to whom Obama submitted a copy of his birth certificate. They refer to Snopes.com who verified that the Internet rumor was indeed a rumor. They refer to a statement from the Hawaii Republican Governor that confirms they have his original birth certificate. In their minds, so many people have seen the birth certificate, so why should they make a stink about it? It would be political suicide to interfere with the first black president elected by such an overwhelming majority.
Except that no one has actually SEEN the original birth certificate. The only things available to them and to the public are digital images!!! They overlook the most important point.
I don’t think they’re involved in some high-level conspiracy. I think they’re just lazy, ignorant, and fearful. They’ve fallen victim to the group-think mentality.

Remember that old commercial? That’s what’s happened here. Everybody (including the judiciary) heard it from a friend that Obama has released his original birth certicate to the media, so it must be true.
Surely they aren't THAT stupid??? Are they? I'm sure they must have investigators on retainer. They could do some checking without even missing the nightly cocktail party.
Sure, they could investigate it, but why do so? It’s political suicide for them, Obama being the One an all.
