And slow paced is bad somehow?

He did ok sitting in for Paul Harvey, but radio... it takes a LOT of patience and dedication. As he demonstrated in his presidential campaign, he's a lazy SOB (not that it stopped many here from supporting him).
I give him six months of goose-egg ratings on low power stations.

If Fred Thompson has more sense, why did he waste everyone's time by pretending to run for President?
Romney was the hardest campaigner during the primary season and cleaned Thompson's clock. Unfortunately, the conservatives were so split that a lefty like Juan McCain was able to get the nomination with fewer votes than he had when he lost to W in 2000.

He didn’t pretend to run... He was the best and ONLY candidate that should have gotten support from Republicans, especially looking back in hindsight. The media derailed his casmpaign with lies and the uninformed BELIEVED those lies. Apparently even some Freepers did as well. The way I see it, is if you weren’t for Duncan Hunter or Fred Thompson, YOU were part of the problem and the reason we are in the situation we are in right now. THIS IS A LESSON FOR THE NEXT ELECTION so please DO NOT BELIEVE THE MEDIA AND DO NOT VOTE OR SUPPORT ANOTHER RINO CANDIDATE!

Paul Harvey stuff is heavily scripted and Fred does well there. I think you are right - one or two ratings cycles and it will be over.

Thanks for the ping, KoRn!
Unfortunately Fred is on at the same time as Rush. You can listen live on Radio Time or download RedButton (14 day free trial - $29 to buy) and record it to listen later.

Romney was the hardest campaigner during the primary season True, Romney IS the hardest workin' man in the health care socialisation business.
To: NoGrayZone
Good idea! I’ve recorded all Fred’s shows so far and listen to them when I have time. Pay no attention to the Romneybots on this thread - it’s a good show.

Those shows you have recorded, are you able to post them? I still love my Fred and would love to hear him. I miss him terribly!
If you can't post them, any idea where I can hear them?

I can only imagine that tuning into his radio program would be like
listening to paint dry.
I wonder if he will keep his listeners waiting and waiting after the show starts with some sort of "stealth-program." Then he can finally come on towards the end of the show after everyone has stopped listening, talk slowly for a few minutes, and finally be completely dumbfounded about where everybody went. Just like his "campaign."
To: jellybean
I found a on-line replay that starts around 9 or 10 at night, sorry I don’t have the link handy and I’m heading out of town here for a few days.

Wow. The Romney-bots and Hunter-hats are STILL just as nasty as they were during the primaries.
You’d think they’d finally give it a rest, fercryinoutloud.

There appear to be a number of streaming radio stations that play the show at later times,
here.

"Heavily" scripted?
It's as scripted as an episode of L&O.
