I’ve actually not heard anyone indicate that they’d like to see violence against Obama, just that they don’t want his policies to take root. But I used to hear violence and hatred spoken against Bush daily. Yes, they are massive, astounding hypocrites. But we knew this.
You just told my story, as well. Almost exactly the same.
And, you told it very, very well. Thank you.
papasmurf, I suspect it is the story of most of us. I for one, am a bit tired of the ‘racist’ labeling and identity politics where it is not deserved.
So does this mean we can’t quote the Founding Fathers about things like the tree of liberty?
Note to self, find a wacko site where I can post what I REALLY feel without embarrassing Jim Rob.
All that needs to be said about catherine, the author, is that she is a great demonstration, and validation, of the GIGO concept!
Dontcha just love it when the kiddies with the Guy Fawkes “V” masks are now queueing up to turn state informant?
“I for one, am a bit tired of the racist labeling and identity politics where it is not deserved.”
Agreed. It seems to me it’s being purposely flamed and stoked.
If President Obama were an enemy agent, secretly attempting to destroy the U.S., what would he be doing differently?
*crickets chirping*
I fear this is just the beggining.
Seriously, these people assault the innocents in the womb with scalpels and suction and call us the wingnuts for asserting our first and second amendment rights? The last paragraph is hysterical, accusing us of not being able to read...like any of them ever read anything from the Constitution or the founders.
Sheesh....it's a dark day in this country when dissent is no longer patriotic (Hillary, could you scream this at your people again? They've forgotten.)
"I'm sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you're not patriotic. We need to stand up and say we're Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration."
I’ll send ya cigarettes while your in the joint.
:)
Lovely, they certainly want us in camps, don’t they?
(sigh)
RS
I denounce the behavior of Barack Obama, sending this country into Socialism/Communism.
Is it hate speech to say I detest the man, his whole party and everything they stand for?
I’m not sure I’m up for incitement to violence. I’m still coming to grips with being part of the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy.
Actually, aiming any violence at Obama would be extremely counterproductive. But we must be prepared to respond to the violence sure to come from his minions at Acorn with overwhelming force. Unfortunately, that will render us lawbreakers in most of the nation.
I totally agree with you on that, I just don't feel we should be providing them...pardon the pun...ammunition to do so. While I would die for our collective right to shout it from the rooftops I just believe that posts about shooting from the rooftops such as the ones they pointed out border on inciting violence and therefore should be discouraged. But like I said, this is your place and it is therefore your call.
For instance. I would like to invite Obama over to my place to play with my cat. Is that so wrng?
So, it’s ok to make a movie about hypthatically assassinating a president, but it’s not ok to talk about such vile things?
Pfffft.
Another black family living in government housing, what's new about that? < /sarc >
No one wants violence. The ball is in their court. It’s up to them to start the hostilities.
