We need to get away from talking of things being "Orwellian". George Orwell was writing about Stalinists in the West.

When things are "Orwellian", they are Stalinist.

Don't couch it under "fictionalized" realities. These things have happened and are happeing again. A chill wind blows. Only Susan Saradon's boy toy is not shouting about it.

"Orwellian" works for me. Our leftist rulers in the west have access to technology undreamt of by Uncle Joe and his politburo. Stalin would have loved a telescreen in every home. Orwell's fiction is probably a more accurate description of our reality only because our government will be more intrusive and oppressive than Stalin could have hoped for.

We need to get away from talking of things being "Orwellian".

We also need to get away from talking about things Limbaughian 24-7.

Why are conservatives still gullibly engaging in this cynically contrived controversy about Rush Limbaugh?

This is playing right into the hands of the Democrats who deliberately stirred up this phony hornet's nest to deflect from their Maximum Leader's gross ineptitude managing the economy & sabotaging the financial markets.

Extending this bogus discussion ad nauseum is exactly what this WH wants us to do: let's talk about a syndicated radio talk show host instead of the fact that Barack Obama is deliberately torpedoing the foundations of capitalism right under our noses.

And, like clockwork, there's always an army of naive conservatives who take the bait & fall right into their trap. Repeatedly.

Unbelievable.

If they can change the subject, we are free to change it right back again. We don't have to keep letting democrats setting the agenda of the national debate, and we sure as hell are not obligated to contnue to AID & ABET them to do just that!

Honestly, sometimes we conservatives have all the political street smarts of rubes on a turnip truck.
