WALLACE: The stock market has dropped 20 percent since the Obama inauguration. Can this now fairly be called the Obama bear market?
MCCAIN: No, I -- I think I'd leave -- like to leave that up to the experts. But I do believe that a $1.2 trillion stimulus package -- add that to a $750 billion TARP, add that to this $480 billion supplemental, add it to another TARP that's coming down -- massive deficits, and we are committing generational theft. We are laying a debt on future generations of Americans.
. . . . .
WALLACE: Back in 2002, you compared Rush Limbaugh to a circus clown, and then you apologized to circus clowns...
(LAUGHTER)
... which I thought was a classic McCain line.
MCCAIN: I thought it was a pretty good line, yeah.
WALLACE: Yeah, not a bad line.
What do you make of Republican leaders, including the head of your party, Michael Steele, now apologizing to Rush Limbaugh?
MCCAIN: I think it's all a distraction. Very seriously, Mr. Limbaugh has his audience and his base of support. There's plenty around the country and around our party.
. . . . .
Let's all work together with the president whenever we can, against him if we think we have to. But let's be the loyal opposition. Let's work together and -- and not get distracted by who's the leader of the party and who's not. And the Democrats have made a lot of hay out of this, and I understand that. Now let's -- let's move forward.

MCCAIN: ...I do agree with him and work with him on defense procurement, on Iraq and a number -- any issue that I can work with the president, I will work with him.

There you have it. The choice in this past election was between Obama and Obama lite. No wonder the voters chose the real Socialist.
The GOP needs an enema in the worst possible way.

To me he is, and always be McSTAIN.
At least, when the US goes down the tubes,
it will be on Obamie’s watch.
I doubt that McPain would have been much better.

I’m sorry, but this is all just more of the same old McCain. Wishy Washy, pap from a Maverick. Deliver me. Please, and I voted for the guy knowing full well exactly what he was. In his defense, I knew exactly who Obama was as well and therefore cast my vote accordingly while holding my nose.

McCain didn't seem to mind, when he suspended his campaign, rushed to Washington, helped bailout the $700 billion bailout by getting another $150 billion in pork attached to it, and then voted for the $850 billion package.

Mr. MaCain, if you were a man of character, you would refund the money I send your campaign. Or, you would resign and seek medical help for your deteriorating mental condition.

Wow....McCain is a whirling dervish of changing opinion and position, isn’t he??? It’s mind-boggling..you dance as fast as you can,and you STILL can’t keep up with him. I think the guy’s just old, tired and nuts. He needs to go home, prop his feet up on the sofa and just fade away.

"...any issue that I can work with the president, I will work with him." I saw McCain was scheduled for Fox News yesterday morning and, therefore, declined to watch the show. Knowing who is on these shows and knowing their likely spin on politics (and that they rarely discuss (if ever) important issues such as illegal aliens and their affect on the economy as well as crime in this nation), there are much better things to do with my time then to listen to politicians who say one thing and do another.
