Examiner Editorial: Warning: Breathing causes global warming
San Francisco Examiner ^ | March 9, 2009 | San Francisco Examiner

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa Jackson opened Pandora’s box recently by agreeing to reconsider a Bush administration decision that excluded carbon dioxide from the list of pollutants the agency regulates under the Clean Air Act. Human beings and animals exhale the carbon dioxide that plants use in photosynthesis. A byproduct of photosynthesis is normally oxygen breathed by human beings and animals. So to even consider classifying carbon dioxide as a pollutant is, to put it mildly, quite a stretch.

I thought this was from “The Onion”

Will bamster pass an executive order limiting how many breaths each person is allowed? Will he establish a cap and trade scheme where the poor can sell their extra breaths to the rich?

Duh. This is where the CO2 tax is largely headed. I wonder.... do fat people emit more than their fair share of CO2? (Methane is a given!).

I have been posting this information since Al Gore first proposed it and won the Nobel Prize for idiocy.

Sounds good to me. Let’s put an immediate cap on the D.C. emissions by issuing plastic bags to about 300 members of Congress.

Co2 emissions would would be reduced by 99% if Al Gore would just shut up about global warming - Rush Limbaugh

Those with birth defects will be taxed at a higher rate because the courts already say it isn’t discriminatory to abort them.

At some point, this idiocy has to stop.

Doesn't it?

There’s some idiot on there claiming there’s a difference between the CO2 we breath and what comes out of a plant—HOW??? They’re exactly the same chemical make-up! CO2 is CO2, how could it be anything different??

This is the opportunity for all to see just WHO is truly concerned about the perils of global warming. I challenge those who are the most dedicated in this noble effort to HOLD YOUR BREATH for a single hour per day. The ensuing reduction in greenhouse gasses will be of tremendous benefit to the planet. I will humbly thank you, as will the rest of us.

Uhh, what kind of "plant" are you talking about?

A Power plant, or a tree plant?

What comes out of a plant is more oxygen than went in. It's very different from the CO2 we breathe.

I should have clarified... yes, I meant power plant.

So, okay, more “oxygen” comes out—that going to be labeled as a pollutant, too?

"I wonder.... do fat people emit more than their fair share of CO2? (Methane is a given!)."

No, but healthy, athletic people emit 5-10 times more co2 as fat lazy people do. In fact, the less active the better, at least as far as "global warming" goes.

Because some leftwing moonbat liberal says it is, so it must be so. To hell with the facts. You should know by now that the "science" concerning "gore-bull warming" is all B.S.

CO2 particulates don't fly up into the atmosphere and "reflect heat in" either. They are heavier than air and settle on the earth, plus they aren't miraculous over unity particles that somehow double the energy of the sun.
