Today being the official end for another year of Israeli Apartheid Week, let's address the absurd lament from its enthusiasts that you can't criticize Israel today without being labelled an anti-Semite.
Bull. First, let's dispense with "anti-Semite" -- a confusing term since Arabs can be Semites and many Jews aren't.
Instead, let's call it what it is -- "Jew hatred."
So, can people criticize Israel without being accused of Jew hatred? Of course.

Quite a few of them are on the DNC donor rolls.
I’d say quite a bit, by percentages, of the rolls on DNC are Jewish. They are in fact self-haters, if you ask me. I don’t have an outstanding opinion of Israel one way or the other except to say that it has a right to exist freely without fear of destruction. That said, I wish that the Jews that support the Democratic Party and liberalism support both in the face of both’s tenets aimed at the very destruction of their religious homeland could see this....it is a very curious situation if you ask me.

Even anti Jewhaters don't get it right. Antisemite, no -, has absolutely nothing to do with "semites". It's a political term coined by a late 19th century German politician, Wilhelm Marr, with a specific meaning, Jew hatred. Beyond that, the term semite wasn't racial, rather a linguistic term referring to people who spoke Arabic, Hebrew, "semitic languages", though it now has a cultural meaning as well.
I always use Jewish liberalism to point out that not all Jews are smart.
I don’t get it either. When the Nazi’s (National Socialists) in Amerika take over, where will the self hating Jew go?
To be forcibly sent to places where he doesn’t want to go.
Maybe they think they will be on the ‘giving’ end this time if they are part of the power apparati.....
The next time that plan works for the Jews, will be the first time.
On the ballot, they’ll have a (D) after their name.
Antisemitism was always a symptom, a major one, of a burning desire to do away with the law, with the culture and with the civilization itself. This obsession makes very strange bedfellows.
To the camps, and eventually to the ovens, of course. The difference is that this time a lot of us will be fighting to help them, and probably die with them.
Do they deserve it? maybe not; will we do it? Yes.
I think she means Judea and Samaria, part of Israel. The only west bank in Israel is the west bank of the Euphrates West Bank ?

Jewish leftists bewilder me. Their slavish devotion to movements which are hostile to them seems so irrational to me that I sometimes wonder if the only explanation for it is hatred for gentiles. Then again, I’ve encountered more than a few elderly FDR Democrats who while conservative in many ways would react violently at any suggestion that he didn’t walk on water. Mindsets can be strange things.
Yep. On all accounts. A man’s gotta die of something.
He or she is likely a Jew.
You are correct about the historical origin of the term “anti-semite.” It was coined by the German Wilhem Marr, who wasn’t ashamed at all about enthusiastically including himself in that category. Many other prominent Germans followed Marr’s lead, which eventually contributed to the rise of the Nazi Party 50 years later.
I've wondered long and hard about the menatality of liberal Jews (most Jews are liberal) -- and over the years have come to the conclusion that Jews hate practicing Christians (though they would NEVER admit it, not even to themselves). I've heard enough snide remarks over the years from Jews about Christians to come to that conclusion. Though I've had several wonderful Jewish friends, as a group their mentality remains an enigma to me. Intelligent, witty, wise, fun -- and yet so LIBERAL. It's a puzzle.
Doubt it. A lot more Christians voted for BHO than McCain. If it's about hating Christians, lots more aligned with the left.
The Democratic Party harbors by far the most antisemites and most prominent antisemites of any political party in the United States today. This is a significant factor in the movement of US foreign policy away from Israel and toward her enemies which we've seen in the early days of the Obama Administration.
