>>> “Well, I understand, but...where do I put it?”

Small of the back if wearing a blouse/jacket that’s long enough. Or google for a garter belt type of holster as an option if togged out in a skirt.

A small enough gun won’t bother your leaning back in the pew.

I understand holster-makers’ choice of dark or black materials, but it’s an untapped market to provide holsters, perhaps with a shield that additionally breaks up the gun’s outline, in white or pastel shades that don’t scream GUN when worn by a woman.

Here. You can even tuck in your blouse with these.

Next order I place, I’m ordering one for my compact .40 Taurus.

Sorry about your bad experiences but it takes two to tango. Bad preachers don't make good girls go bad IMO.

Anyway, around here I think they would most likely be encouraged to get right with God and get married.

The suspect underwent surgery and was listed serious condition, according to Mastor Trooper Timmins. Illinois State Police have someone posted by the suspect's bed around the clock. He is expected to be hospitalized for a few days.
Will the police wait until the suspect is released before they arrest him?

You see that happen when the agency does not want to pay for his hospital care. If he is in their custody, it is on the agency dime. If not, he's responsible.

When he is discharged, they'll arrest him. If he tries to leave, they'll arrest him.

Police removed gun cases and a computer late this afternoon from the Troy, Ill., home of a man who may be linked to the shooting of Pastor Fred Winters at a church about two miles away.

Officials would not comment at the scene, but vehicle records show the home in the first block of Zachary Court is the address of a 27-year-old man who co-owns a Jeep Wrangler parked outside the crime scene.

"It's a good thing that Illinois has some of the strictist gun control laws in the U.S. This way, when a criminal decides to completely disregard those laws and, say, shoot up a church, he doesn't have to worry about anyone shooting back.

Clearly, there is a need for a concealed carry knife law. The criminal wasn't safe enough.
I'll bet the moonbat liberals will be introducing just such a bill because of this incident before long.

Only 2 miles? Then they must be adjacent.

Interesting. I Goggled the name and got this:

Terry Joe Sedlacek has been suffering from Lyme Disease and its co-infection Ehrlichiosis for the past several years. He nearly lost his life to this disease five years ago and battles the effects daily.

And some other links about fundraisers for him.

"Trent said the man in custody will not be identified publicly until charges are filed."

Probably because his name is 'Achmed' Mohammad Ab'Allah.

Odd! Again, what would be the motive?

"you just never know, just sayin' "

True enough. After all, the church is a gathering place for sinners, not a museum of saints.

From the article:

These days, Sedlacek, now 26 and living in Troy, Ill., with Abernathy, has difficulty speaking. He’s got lesions on his brain. He’s taking several drugs, including anti-seizure medication.

THIS IS PURE SPECULATION, but I am guessing 1 of 2 motives.

1) He just went crazy (brain lesions), which will probably be the defense anyway.

2) It was something to do with fund raising in some way. All the other links I could find involved fund raising efforts for his medical care.

Is the perp’s name Mohammed?

My first thought, too. Another case of Sudden Jihadi Syndrome.

Especially when I heard that as soon as the gun jammed (thank GOD, literally and always) he rammed a blade into his own throat and then slammed the same blade into two others trying to subdue him. My feeling is, as soon as I see he's trying to off himself (with a blade, especially), whom am I to stop him?

My brother “carries” now in Georgia. Got jumped coming out of a Krugers by some destitutes. Watch your back when you’re loading your groceries. Isn’t as safe as it used to be, that’s for sure.
