It's Barkley for three!
Days in jail, that is.
TNT studio analyst and former Dream Teamer Charles Barkley reported to an outdoor "Tent City" jail in Arizona Saturday to serve his three-day sentence for drunken driving.
"You come here when you screw up," Barkley said at a bizarre news conference hours after he arrived at the jail. "I don't blame anybody for this situation but myself."
The loquacious hoops legend went on to blast critics of President Obama, saying "Rush Limbaugh and a lot of jackasses are giving him a hard time right now."

He owned the deed and has said he takes full responsibility. FWIW.
But if yall really, really want to put me as low as I can go, I can do that and make you feel better.
Playing the victim card( kissing cousin to race card) and bringing politics as an distraction isn't owning full responsibility

If Barkley couldnt play basketball, hed be a waiter at Dennys. Now, give Charles a little more credit than that. He'd probably be a bouncer at strip club if didn't have a basketball career.

Just another unthinking Obamanite.

Maybe he should stop drinking and gambling and gather his thoughts. He needs to stop gambling and start giving that money to government if he really believes in what Barry is doing.

Presidents are given a hard time by their political opposition, Charles. That’s just the way it works, always has. The hard time has nothing to do with the color of his skin, unlike your uncritical support of him.

Yeah he’d be in a club alright, a penal club. Doing hard time for getting nailed for crap he got away with being a jock.

"And Rush and Barkley used to be buds! More unity from the Zero." Showing once again, that with most blacks - dark skin trumps everything...
Blacks have a solid history of IGNORING MLK Jr's "Dream" that men should be judged by their character and not the color of their skin.... ~96% of their voting records confirm this.
Much that is said by Leftist Black Politicians and those who curry their favor -- was pure and simple BULL SHIT. The nation is currently experiencing the damage that "politically correct" manipulation of prudent decision making has wrought...

What’s up with all the sweat? Something more than alcohol going on there?

Didn't he say years ago that he didn't want to be a role model for kids? Nice to see that he's living up to his own standard.
Is it usual practice in Arizona, to incarcerate for a DUI? The article says he was charged with two misdemeanors, and was originally sentenced to 10 days, which was reduced to three by a reviewing judge. Barkley also agreed to attend a 7 day alcohol program. Is this usually done with misdemeanors, or is it possible that he was originally charged with DWI and the charges reduced to DUI, which then led to his plea of guilty? And why was he charged with two misdemeanors? He was stopped and took a sobriety test, which he failed. I'm wondering what the other misdemeanor charge was for. Does anyone have any other info on this?

“He always spoke highly of you” ( to Barkley ) directly applies here. I can't remember the year but early on Rush spent some time on at least a couple of shows pointing out what a testament Barkley was to hard work paying off. Rush pointed out how Barkley neither had the natural grace or height of his peers on the court, but overcame it by constant practice and extra hard work to try and be the best.

Hey Chuck, that was an expensive LOL! Now I remember the article, and when I read it, I thought well, at least he was honest to the cops about it.
