...an honorary knighthood for Teddy Kennedy...
Oh, really?!

Call him Sir Ted Kennedy: Senator will be knighted by Queen Elizabeth

United States Constitution
Article 1, Section 9. No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States: and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state.

The Federalist Papers : No. 84
Nothing need be said to illustrate the importance of the prohibition of titles of nobility. This may truly be denominated the corner-stone of republican government; for so long as they are excluded, there can never be serious danger that the government will be any other than that of the people.

So the Queen is going to disregard the Constitution as well? That's cheeky!

Obama, a diplomat he ain't unless he is in Africa or Husseinville.

Get used to it world.

We have to.

The "Obama snub" ( Google it) and you will see what I mean, its his only diplomatic skill and soon that will be worn out.

Typical technique of fascists. Obama shouuld not have showed at all in Britain, leaving the work to professionals.

Agree, in a way, but it’s 0 who picked the clueless and classless people, so it is his fault. Plus, he should have realized it was an inappropriate gift and had them get something else.

This calculated snub of the British Prime Minister may be an effort to diminish his position with the British people in the next election cycle. Zero may be positioning a British candidate that conforms more with his Fabian Socialist goals.

The gift was not unintentional or not thought out. The gift was meant of a rejection of the old meta narrative and a statement that American culture has been redefined by the Obama administration as technologically advanced Hollywood hip.

How about giving him something that is pure Obama: some home-grown Acorns.

I noted in the news story, that it was an honorary knighthood. Could that mean it passed the Constitutional test? I have to believe, the first honorarium ted receives on his passing will be that of a certain young female accident victim.

A deliberate insult, maybe not. But it clearly shows the utter shallowness of Obama and the Socialist movement he leads.

Zero’s roots are showing.

Exactly!

Gordon Brown got the shortened "ghetto" welcome as opposed to the longer lavish welcome that important foreign dignitaries should get. Why?

Because, Obama is very afraid. He's afraid that with a longer period of back and forth conversations, someone is bound to figure out that the ZERO is nothing but an empty suit. Obama wasn't about to take any chances and get embarrassed in front of a national or international audience.

25 DVD’s of classic American movies (which probably will not play on British DVD players...different format). But I can’t tell you what the 25 movies were.

They are produced by Treeline Films, an independent company that gathers together films that are now in the public domain. I bought a 50 DVD set of Mystery Classics years ago. Some good movies, some clunkers, but none of them remastered or cleaned up.

A nice gift for the office grab-bag or for yourself on a rainy afternoon...but for a world leader? Classless and clueless. I still can't believe that this story is not from The Onion.

"The answer is simple. Hussein has no class."

YOU...are exactly right, my friend. Much like MahMichelles wardrobe, the CommieBama white house has no class. I'm expecting green and purple drapes to be hung in every room to match the zebra skin carpet.

I get the "Heartland" catalogs, which sell DVD movie sets with 50 movies for $19.99 all day long.

If I had been Gordon Brown, I would have told CommieBama to kiss my white ass, and walked out. England - with all of its euro-eccentricities, has still stood by our side through many hard times and conflicts, and their current leader should have been insulted with a DVD set.

After all, he brought CommieBama a pen made from an anti-slave ship....oh, but CommieBama HAD NO slave ancestors...only slave-TRADER ancestors. That would mean the pen was made from ships that sunk CommieBama's ancestors....hummmmmm, maybe there is a rub here after all.

I think we should come up with a suggested list of tacky gifts for other foreign leaders as CommieBama meets with them with no preconditions.

He could give Ahmadinejad a set of steak knives made from the bow of the USS Cole, and a ShamWow to the President of France. How about a "velvet Elvis" to the German Chancellor?

A Rubiks Cube for Chavez, and a copy of "Border Crossings for Dummies" to the President of Mexico.

The leader of Zimibabwae could be given 10 shares of GM stock along with a commerative copy of the "Obama Wins" edition of the New York Times.

There are many leaders and we're sure the obama's will find numerous ways to piss them all off before it's over. After this presidency is over, we too will need a RESET button.

Outstanding observation!

You know what would be a really really funny skit? (Not that I'm saying there's anything funny about Obama) It would be a State Dinner where everyone is speaking from a teleprompter.

BO’s days are numbered. At least, the impeached one along with the republican majority made sure the market didn’t tank...therefore, the media whores continued to support him. BO is allowing the market to crash and those wealthy eastern elites will not stand for it....and the media whores will have NO choice in pulling their support from him.
