Russian scholar says US will collapse — next year

MOSCOW – If you're inclined to believe Igor Panarin, and the Kremlin wouldn't mind if you did, then President Barack Obama will order martial law this year, the U.S. will split into six rump-states before 2011, and Russia and China will become the backbones of a new world order. Panarin might be easy to ignore but for the fact that he is a dean at the Foreign Ministry's school for future diplomats and a regular on Russia's state-guided TV channels. And his predictions fit into the anti-American story line of the Kremlin leadership. "There is a high probability that the collapse of the United States will occur by 2010,"

Most Americans want the Constitution to be preserved, protected and defended. Most Americans want freedom of choice, not socialism.

Sure, and affirmative action is constitutional?

It is discrimination from the very first letter of the word.

It’s rather disconcerting that FReepers find this article so popular.

Personally, I find it encouraging.

Looking at just one form of wickedness, infanticide, isn’t it strange how such an overwhelming percentage of them also wage a war against freedom and common sense? Rare are the few such as Boortz who are both pro-death and at the same time sensable. As our nation tolerates the worst of sins, it rots in countless ways.

They vote for goons who want to grab our guns, who elevate flies and sucker fish above human beings, who seek draconian rationed health care, who seek to destroy our nation’s sovereignty, our energy production, our property, and our gun rights. The unholy coalition is amazingly self-destructive when a person just stops to think about it. If only they did not have the power to drag everyone down with them.

Same here, however, I wouldn’t want to live in Jericho version of Allied States of America (even though the name does sounds cool).. They got rid of the 2nd Amendment..

Not going to happen. Russia has its own set of problems then the rest of the world is being let in on. Americans are fighters when push comes to shelve.

Wishful thinking. Most Americans are clueless sheeple who will do what they are told to do by Comrade Obamsky, whose cult of personality trumps all reason or logic. Constitution? They don’t have any idea of what that is or what it means. To them, Obamsky IS the constitution.

Affirmative action and quotas are unconstitutional. The Social Security system is unconstitutional. We need another Reagan, someone who is actually a leader and can communicate the issues clearly to people who are “uninformed” and brain-washed. Right now the so-called Republicans are fake capitalists. They just follow public opinion polls instead of trying to shape public opinion. And the Democrats are truly Socialists. So about half the population of the United States has taxation without representation.

I put this up often...just to remind us that "getting out" is still an option.

Why should freedom loving, conservative people have to live in Zim-America where gangs of thugs are necessary to keep order? If that is what president Zero's people want, why don't we just cut out a portion of the country and let them have at it?

As for me, I like the sound of "The Republic of Texas".

It's Time to Part Company

So about half the population of the United States has taxation without representation.

But Obombah has turned that around with his soak the rich plans. When he's done, more than half the county won't pay any income taxes at all, and will be fully represented. So what then? They just keep voting themselves more of other peoples' money. This is the real plan 'Rats have to maintain office.

Better to tax everyone as little as possible for the government to do what it needs to do, and no more.

About half the population paid little or no taxes before Obama. The top 5% of earners already pay more than 90% of all personal income taxes collected. Exact numbers are available online, but I don’t have the link at the moment.

What we need is the elimination of the federal income tax altogether, replacing it with a national sales tax.

“The Republic of Texas”.

We already have an embassy in London. Still open. Sort of.

“The Republic of Texas”.
A Texas Legation (a type of embassy) was maintained by the Republic of Texas in Washington D.C., London, and Paris from 1836 through 1845 the one in London is still open and serves “Texas” food!

I don’t put much weight to what this guy says; however, our current federal government has shown that it is hell bent on destroying capitalism and free enterprise. The government no longer serves us, but we serve it. There is no freedom without economic freedom. The government has made slaves of the American people by burdening them with massive debt. The only way that anyone is going to regain his freedom is if states start to rebel. The “Tea Party” idea is a good start, but it is only a start. Those in the “red states” need to do far more.

What happens to Alaska? Does it become a Free Republic under the leadership of President Palin?

“What happens to Alaska? Does it become a Free Republic under the leadership of President Palin?”

Free from the shackles of the environmental lobby that makes it’s living from scaring the sheeple 5,000 miles away from Alaska, we start drilling, building pipelines and take over OPEC.

I don’t think the Russian really want us. We do need to stay on friendly terms with them, so we can build the hoverferry between the Seward Peninsula and Siberia, opening up a land route from Europe the parts of North America still worth trading with. So, if Texas is just too hot, bring a shovel and some work ethic and join the Frozen Chosen.
