I have to remind myself who is in charge when I get all frantic about the demons running this country right now.

You would not have found a more devout Christian than my grandmother. She also suffered from depression. For a great many people, It has nothing to do with their attitude or belief system. It’s a disorder of brain chemistry that’s treatable with medication.
I am a suicide survivor (as an evolutionist), who was dramatically affected for the better when I became a creationist. So I absolutely endorse the gist of this article. It’s hard to be depressed when you recognize the reality that there is a God and He cares about you.
In contrast, Christianity is 1) profoundly positive and conducive to joy, and 2) the only reliable basis for free economic and political systems.
Good article.
What about hemorrhoids? Can creationism cure them too?
Oprah meets creationism.
“That night he realized that this evolutionary belief was the reason for his dark despair and feeling of emptiness....”
I believe in evolution and God. Depression can result from no belief in God but I don’t see how you have to believe in Creationism to believe in God.
Creationists are not giving evidence, only ideas. It has also become quite clear that evolution cannot be compatible with scripture. I have almost completely given up on faith. If a loving God is real, why does he play these cruel jokes?
