We live in a strange world where a man can cheat on his wife, bring about the death of his mistress, treat his cheated on wife and mother of his kids like dirt, and get knighted, and lionized, as a saint only because he has brain cancer and sold his country down the river.

How many poor criminals on death row never got the same break, yet met the same fate?

What realistic person didn't see the "Ted Tribute" coming? When Kennedy had his seizure at the inauguration and it looked grim for him, I half expected Caroline to use his deathbed as a trampoline into the role of Senator.

Interesting read - Counsel to the President - Clark Clifford’s memoirs - has a whole section on the EMK cheating issue. Their chief concern was not for Teddy, but rather avoidance of a scandal. Jack was ‘perturbed’ to say the least.
