Paul Kane at The Washington Post points out that the bill is "leftover from last year's congressional agenda." Oops, guess who controlled Congress last year, too?

“This is last year’s business. We want to just move on. Let’s get this bill done, get it into law and move forward.”
so put Bush back in the WH and tell him to sign it

The Democrats have been in charge of the House and Senate for the last two years. The crap in those bills is their crap. They knew Bush wouldn't roll over for their spending spree. They held back until they could count on Obama's rubber stamp on anything they want.

Gotta give McLame a little nod here. before I was halfway through the article I had already said to myself - Regardless of who's albatross it is, wouldn't you want to be the Knight in White Armor and say "Wait - I am not signing this waste?"
Instead, we get Captain Party Animal who wants to say "Hey, it was not mine, so I'll sign it."
The class just keeps rolling off of these people...
I am feeling more and more stimulated every day...but not the way they want.

The omnibus bill is a resolution to the last of the spending authorization from the final Bush term. It is in Zeros best interest to jack that number up as high as possible as it will allow him to inflate the Bush deficit to complain about. More importantly though, it provides a higher baseline for Zeros budget to begin its growth, since federal budgeting is a last year cost plus shell game.

If the bill is a holdover from the last administration, then when does the “change that we can believe in begin?

Using undiscovered evidence, CNN has discovered that the administration's attacks on certain private citizens, like "Joe the Plumber" and Rush Limbaugh are actually "hold overs" from the Nixon administration's "enemies list."

Bull Puckey! The DhimmiRats own this, just like all the other bailout, over-spending, insane legislation since the election of the LibTard majority in the Congress.
It’s time to take back the country.
