Europeans were among the loudest cheerleaders for Barack Obama during his presidential campaign. Soon after he won the Democratic candidacy 200,000 people turned out in Berlin to hear him speak. But now that he is settled in the White House, many Europeans feel snubbed.
Just six weeks into his presidency, Europeans are already fretting that Obama has yet to visit Europe. His Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, flew west for her first foreign trip, spending a week in Asia last month, before traveling to the Middle East. Meanwhile, Obama has returned the Winston Churchill bust that sat in the Oval Office for the past eight years to the British. Indeed, some Europeans brood that the new President's only nod toward them came with the family decision to adopt a Portuguese water dog. (See pictures of presidential dogs.)

June 2008: ANTI-BUSH DEMO GOES AHEAD LIB DEMS SUPPORT RIGHT TO PROTEST
LOL
Maybe the Europens thought he would pay their mortgages and buy them new cars, too.
My Girl
Too busy destroying America. Soon as King Obama has aspired to ascend to a permanent throne he will visit the lame leaders of the communists world. Once he establishes his leadership of the communist world, he will attempt to destroy what is left of the free world. /s/

Don’t say that to loud!....OBongo might hear you!
Funny how the story describes Zero’s giving back the Churchill bust. Is he going to replace it with Neville Chamberlain? He was probably squirming, having the eyes of a man like Churchill gazing at him all day.

What an insult! Returning the Churchill bust!
Well, he can’t have a man who saw tyranny and stood up to it staring at him all day. The hypocrisy may be too much even for Zero!
And it is quite an insult. Why in the world would he do that? What would you say when you do that?
O’Bozo returned the bust of Churchill because he’s replacing with a bust of Snoop Dog.....
Brilliant observation.
I'll bet that Chamberlain's ghost has moved into the oval office. Every time Zero pauses to say uh...uh...uh, he's listening to advice ole Neville is whispering into his ear. And to Saudi jinns whispering into the other.
You've noticed his big ears?
O’Bozo probably said: “Here’s your door stop back”.....
Obama is no statesman...He’s an embarrassement to America!...God what a joke he is!
Does your BC have any strange quirks?
Now THERE’S a quality girl but far too smart for Obama. Border Collies rule (ask my sheepshearer buddy) but I just pal around with a good ol’ part Walker hound dog, she’s not as sharp perhaps but her tail wags and she makes us feel like the heroes we ain’t.
She knows where every farm that has sheep. She could be sleeping in the back of the truck (Trooper) and pop up when I drive past one.
I don’t usually post here much but I wanted to post a theory about this. I can’t help but wonder if most of Europe’s love affair with Obama was mainly their media’s love affair with him.
I had the chance to go to New Zealand and went to a town called Queenstown. I took an old steamer up to a sheep station that was basically a tourist thing. I was standing near the paddock when this guy whistled and then over the hill here comes this herd of sheep with about six BC’s running alongside them ... at that moment I said, that’s the dog for me ... I was 16. I had to wait almost 5 years before I could get one ... my sweetie is my life .... I love her dearly ....but she’s too da***ed smart ......
This, on top of the story about his “magnanimous” gift to PM Brown and his wife - a stinkin’ DVD of “classic American movies”. Yeah, like the PM doesn’t have cable or anything over there in that hick backwater called “England”.
And not to mention that DVD players coded for the European market won’t play DVD’s that are coded to only play in DVD players coded for the American market.
I’ve got a beautiful old Sheltie who has always loved to herd people. He does it mainly when we leave the house. He doesn’t want the flock broken up.
He also HATES when people sneeze. He runs at them barking and then growls a bit. Then he walks away.
Since he has gone mostly deaf, he has started ‘talking’ a lot when he is begging for something.
Even though he’s ancient, he’s still a lot of fun. When he is awake, that is. Sleeps a lot now.
