States set most of their own Election rules, those that are not set by Federal regulations.

All lobbyists are required to file annual lobbyist registration statements (paper) and monthly lobbyist expenditure reports (electronically) with the Missouri Ethics Commission. There are four types of lobbyists described in the statutes of the State of Missouri executive lobbyist, legislative lobbyist, judicial lobbyist and an elected local government official lobbyist.

Capital crime? No. Felony with a minimum of a year in jail and permanent revocation of voting rights within the state? Sure.
To: Tempest
The states are charged with administering the federal elections, including determining eligibility for inclusion of the ballot. This is absolutely constitutional.

I said "should" not would... and there is no larger crime than stealing the sanctity of America's elections... acorn workers should be hung for treason... I said SHOULD... but of course in a world of evil such as the one in which we live... dims can commit any crime and suffer no penalty for doing so.

The secretary of state shall verify the qualifications of any elected officeholder who was previously placed on a Missouri ballot. Should any elected officeholder fail to provide the required documentation or birth certificate within thirty days of the request by the secretary of state, the secretary of state shall turn the matter over to the attorney general who shall within twenty days file suit to obtain the required documentation.
They are going to try to request a copy of the TRUE CertificATE of Live Birth — not the ABSTRACT CertificaTION of Live Birth garbage he's been showing the world thus far.
BHO would have 30 days to produce... then state attorney general sues... then it will go to a court... HOWEVER, the state has standing!
It's moving along nicely with little or no opposition.

Anyway if it is passed that it can be used to verify the eligibility of a fraud in office?
