Just what Obama and the Democrats want: Republicans to shoot their own.

Nice.

Wow. That was fast! I think Steele needs a bit more time, honestly. He slipped, but he seems to be coming around.

Steele must go. Now. Nobody who agrees that Republicans are "like Nazis" can be the head of the GOP.

Congratulations to Dr. Ada Fisher!

Ah, yes. The GOP, also known as the “Circular Firing Squad,” takes up positions.

Enough to turn me into a...

Naw, can’t go there...yet.

We need to sort this all out ASAP otherwise we are truly in a lot of hot water for 2010, however badly Obama performs.

Let’s see...spoke in support of assault weapon ban, nodded at nazi comment, dissed conservative ideas...

This is ridiculous. Steele was as misquoted and set up as Rush was. These Republicans need to stop taking the bait and attacking Steele. This is exactly what Carville, Begala and Rahm Emanuel contrived.

“Limbaugh has already promised that ‘His Conservatives’ won’t be giving to the RNC...”

Rush did not say that..only that he was afraid that conservatives would not continue giving.

No room for ANY error, I guess. Some in the RNC aren’t a particularly forgiving bunch.

I hate to say it but the Conservative movement is dead in the Republican Party. I know what a long struggle it will be to find a new home but we have to start somewhere and sometime. The Republican Party has been leading the Conservative movement nowhere.

I don't know? Libertarian? Constitution Party? A new party all together?

Steele’s eroding confidence in the GOP. Yeah. It’s all his fault.

[making the ring-around-my-ear gesture]

Honestly this ‘scandal’ around Steele is inconceivably stupid to me.

We need someone like Glenn Beck to take over, imho. Someone who is NOT afraid to say it like it is, call it all out in the open and who has the balls to do what needs to be done to bring back true CONSERVSATISM!!!!

Well, what it comes down to is, do we want to yank the splinter out now, or wait until it possibly festers?
