Pandemonium at New Hampshire state house as hundreds of liberty activists surge into the square. They're supporting a "nullification" resolution which some call the first step to secession.

But I thought only leftists could ignore Federal law? As when they declare themselves to be “sanctuary cities”.

Bet you could do a lot worse than trying to convince your friend Dan Itsa to run for State Rep?

Thanks AAC! Maybe it's just me but I'm more than a little surprised at the turnout at the rally supporting NH's sovereignty resolution. Good on 'em!
Parking this one over on the 10th Amendment archive thread.

Cut and run is easy.
I have several 5th great grandfathers who served from New Hampshire in the Rev. War.
They fought for a reason, to be united.
The chest bumper, towel snapers who want to cut and run should grow up.

Maybe you could dig a little deeper and actually reply with a pertinent thought, or maybe two even, that can be debated. Then again, maybe not. Neener, neener ain’t gonna cut it.

I can’t say I met or knew Lincoln. I do however, know that Obama is no Lincoln.
Obama is Marx in a different wrapper. Not Lincoln.

Looks like you’ll have to regroup—the measure was handily defeated.

The bill didn’t pass, but the vote was split: 216 - 160. Public opinion was overwhelmingly favorable. For a first try at essentially nullifying the union, not bad. Once the bottom truly falls out of the USSA, the idea will move further into the mainstream. Perhaps we will have our chance to follow Slovenia and Lithuania into escape from socialist empire. Or perhaps the DC commies will loosen up enough to take the momentum out of this brushfire.
